If I go to itch.io, there's always a bunch of horror games now. I hate horror games. How can I fix this?

Is it gonna be on Steam?

I watched ManlyBadassHero and he covers horror games. A lot of said horror games are using RPGMaker. And a lot of those said horror games (RPGMaker or not) are less than 30 minutes long. So I'd shoot for that much gameplay.

JPN Burst is 10% 100% off until October 11, 2021!

Ever wanted to learn Japanese? Well, now you can learn it by playing my game! Type "a" to get "あ". In my game, it's that easy.

JPN Burst brings you 12 two-minute lessons where you can embrace the Japanese language with your own keyboard!

Disclaimer: JPN Burst is currently not a finished game and may or may not change significantly over the course of development.

I've always had big ideas and I'm not sure if my first game is a big idea or a small one. It's just a simple typing game. But then I added Japanese.

If you don't know, Japanese has three writing systems: Hiragana, Katakana, and Kanji. The first two have 40-some characters each. Okay, I can tell you since I'm this far in development that it's at least 12 lessons each. You can call them missions or whatever, but right now, it's a copy-pasted playthrough where the first mission looks exactly the same as the last one. So yeah. Not so simple anymore after adding "Japanese" to it.

And any student will tell you, Kanji is something else. That's at least 1000 characters/vocab right there.

See the video below for the first dev log.
