Thanks so much for doing all this :)

I really like the idea of creating a literal game loop. This works really well. Its punchy, fast and super fun to play :)

We had some very similar ideas except you have gone much further than I was able to in exploring them. I like the light tone and music. Including the ability to select and use items is pretty snazzy.  It was fun to be able to go back and cut down the thorns.  Great exploration depth given all the constraints :)

Yeah you are right it desperately needs a few fuel indicators. Like maybe it should flash when its close and show you very clearly that you ran out of fuel at the end.

Yeah I added the reverb to make it sound really underwater. I literally attached a reverb zone to the player at the last minute and left the defaultsThe controls are indeed confusing and I struggled with that. I thought it would be interesting to keep it that way but show the user the next move with the clock like compass you can see at the top of the screen.  I tried the keep the pace slow so that one could take in the situation and sort of make a plan based on the movement limitations kind of thing. Thanks for playing :)

This is a brilliant idea. Very addictive!

Cool star effects. I like how the background star-time-lapse effect happens so smoothly. The game flows very swiftly with no hitches. Is the star effect done with some type of motion blur? Super rad!

This game does not disappoint. Great story, music, voice acting and game play 10/10. Turn those white circles into asteroids! Make it so they smash into bits. Very fun and entertaining!

I had a lot of fun messing around with the game physics. I was able to get the boat going quite fast with some practice. I was able to get a bit of air time off the terrain which was pretty fun.

I really enjoyed playing your game. It starts out making me feel quite introspective then there's a bit of a laugh and then it ends on a high note. I like how I control how long I get to look at each idea and I am able to put each thing behind me and move on. It made me feel ready for another jam :)

I really like the soundscape. I love the ping pong ball sound. The puzzle difficulty escalates nicely. Great game!

This looks and sounds amazing! Very impressive.

Hmm. Yeah its a pretty simple game I am not sure why its so large either. Its a unity game. Maybe I have some extraneous packages. Its probably worth checking out as I had issues trying to make a web build for this.. Perhaps the two things are related. I'll tighten up the hit boxes too.

I found that after a certain point around 10 points in the game really comes for me. I am not sure if I can get further. I enjoyed making different cars. I like the pink one with a crown cause it kind of looks like flames.

(1 edit)

This game is pretty addictive. The abilities are easy to invoke, fun and precisely responsive. I love the tiny vegetables! It feels really fun to get a radish ready just before corn hits the ground. I think the timings in the game are well balanced for the resolution and it feels like I could get a higher score if I keep trying(my best so far 46)

It would be nice if I could click anywhere to play again rather than clicking through the menu :) Great entry! Perfectly on theme.

This is a really impressive game! This is why I love Ludum Dare! I'm so inspired right now.

A last minute tweak has created a terrible bug on slower machines. I will have to fix this later. Oh well.
