Happy New Year! It's been a while since I've wrote something here, probably it's because i'm too busy with other activities(working, playing ukulele, learning math for 3d game development and ofc celebrating new year). So what's is new since my last update.
1. I've finally figured out what is my game all about. You are space ranger, you have a boss which assigns you to a space missions and they are obviously stupid, funny and crazy :), like you should steal an egg from alien mother or food from pigs or catch polar bear on Zeta - 8 etc. So working title of the game is Try Not Die In Space(TNDIS). I hope game will be fun and I'll complete at least few levels before jam's end(ok let's be honest at least one level with gui, menu screen sounds and graphics).
2. I discovered brilliant pixel editor aseprite and did some basic graphics in it.
3. Drew first enemy asset - The Pig from Redneckulus :)
4. My space ranger now have the jetpack.
5. Tweaked physics a bit.
6. Coded basic pig object.
7. Figured out how to filter collisions in box2d.
8. Wrote some basic states for pig - Sleep, Awake, Die.
