Thank you very much for the feedback 😀 yeh the imes might be a bit fast for a tutorial level but I wanted it to have some challenge. I didn't have time during the jam to test very much so I just had to guess. I'm impressed that you noticed the momentum movement but I was still trying to tune it up before submission so its not quite where I wanted it. Hopefully I'll have time to improve it in the future as I spent far to much time makeing all the components of this game scalable. Thanks again!

The Bug fixes have been submitted just a simple change to the movement and setting some of the test values back to what they should have been before I started rushing you now have 4 hp and the slimes (Imes) are a bit more aggressive

So it turns out I may have accidentally put my movement code in update not fixed update so if you play this on a slow pc you won't move very fast at all 😅 and on v slow pcs you might have to jump around I will fix this asap

I've also set up a team if you would both like to join we can help each other out

Hi, That would be awesome.

I've set up a discord server if you want to drop by and have a chat. https://discord.gg/UVtZYN

I'm normally around 6:00 - 10:00 pm GMT

Hi,

I'm looking to do a 2D side on game with some crafting (see magicite/terraria etc) and am looking for a artist who might be interested in creating some 2D sprites for it otherwise I'm going to use some sprite packs I have hanging around so they probably won't match :(

Cheers,

Chris

Hi Marmon,

It's a short time based survival game which can have a battle royal aspect if you play with friends etc.

On starting the game if you click "LAN Host(H)" it will host a local server for you and start the game.

There is a ready up function in case you wanted to play with more people but if not just hit the action key and the game should count down and start.

Cheers,

Penguino

Hi Noxden,

Thanks for your feedback!

Where you trying to play with your friend over the internet or on a LAN as I've only managed to test over LAN so far.

To set it up:

  1. one player clicks local host
  2. second . . . n player enters the host players IP address (next door to "LAN Client(C)" where it normally says localhost)
  3. second . . . n player then clicks the "LAN Client(C)" button

That should work on a local network just make sure you haven't already readied up when the second player joins as there is no telling what havok that might cause. :D

Thank you again,

Penguino

disconnecting as a server or client is not graceful! the game may need restarting  after a disconnect.

first game and made a big no no when working on projects; changing version of unity completely destroyed the multi player aspect and I've only just fixed it in time to submit but ran out of time for start menu multiplayer lobby etc.

no sound as I don't have any sounds that aren't from packs and I thought those weren't allowed? Just imaging end of the world Christmas music ;)
