Someone else pointed out that it feels very Celeste inspired, and I agree, but that's a positive! It's so pretty and polished, also reminds me of Momodora, such awesome games, and even if yours reminds me of those, it still has that uniqueness to it.

Something I'll say is that the platforming can be a bit clunky, mainly how grabbing walls is not very fluid and sometimes the character slips from the corner of platforms. Another thing is that one scene in the castle area where the stage is divided in half, and the camera gets really annoying in case you fall since it goes up and down very fast, it can be a bit disorienting.

A very "arcade" game, fun in short sessions and the score system would encourage you to get better and better, and even though sometimes picking up leaves and putting them in the bin can be finnicky (IMO the hitbox is not big enough for the bin and it can be kinda frustrating sometimes), it's such a cute and fun game! The music is relaxing and the leaves covering the screen give that nice touch too.

Really good game, it reminds me of Nitrome, oh the nostalgia! It's impressive how you were able to produce something so polished in such a short amount of time. The music is simple but fits it very well, the art has a ton of personality, and the gameplay is simple but very satisfying.

It's a very interesting concept, and I feel like some nice background art and music could really help this project pop out from the rest, although performance wise it was a bit sluggish, maybe that's just my low end computer haha, good job!

It's a very fun roguelike! I played it for some time, and I can say that you end up easily burning through your free time with it, I also really like the pixel art, some enemies can end up blending in with the background too much but overall it's a great aesthetic.

Very beautiful art and nice short story, I like games like this one where you can sit down for a few minutes and just experience it all. Great work! It's been a while since I last saw RPG Maker 2003 in action, and it's as nostalgic as ever.

At the very end, pressing "search" will result in a Dialogic error (something about fc_search)FIXED
Many typos.FIXED(?)

haha, yeah I have this issue with scale creep, initially, it was such a small idea... Now it's something else entirely. I got better at it with visual novels but I underestimated how much time coding would take.

I was wondering if it's possible to submit a demo or prototype for the jam, seeing as I started working from day one and ended up really liking the concept I got and would like to develop it further, or can I only submit finished products?
