Beautiful, surreal and satisfying game.

I loved how well the art supported the story. Congratulations on getting such a consistent style and apropos images out of the AI. I never have such good results!

The concepts of the individual dreams were all interesting and the worlds felt very ‘dreamlike’.

I get the feeling from this game that you had a very clear idea of what you were aiming for and you totally hit it.

Очень хорошая игра. Но я играла по-англиски, потому что я не так хорошо говорлю по-русски.

I thought it was a wonderfully paced story and I liked the payoff at the end. The voice of the narrator and the sense of place and character were spot on. Great fun.

Very evocative writing and very replayable. I died a bunch getting to the satisfying end, which I found very moving.

Great game. :)

Short and sweet. The music was great and set a really epic tone from the beginning.

I’m another person who tried to talk to trash cans!

I’m somewhat intrigued by Binksi after playing this and another game written in it. Will have to give it a try sometime.

So much fun. A very neat and succinct game.

I loved the interaction mechanic and really liked the graphics. The fun the game had with some of its text display really went well with the playful tone of the narrative.

Great fun and very funny. :)

I really liked the illustrations. The style of them fit so well with the mood of the piece.

This was really engaging.

I loved the mechanic of clicking on the map to choose the next action. Though reading the other comments, I think I missed out on a lot of the nuance by being scrupulously honest about prices and never going home again, but instead staying at the inn.

I’d be very interested to keep playing this if later the journey continues onward to the tea plantations.

I like so many things about this game.

The look and feel is beautiful; it’s minimalist but does so much with font design and spacing and the chapter heading art. Really gorgeous.

Such a cute and original concept. You got me to care about an anthropomorphised piece of writing. :) Very cool.

You had me at the description “werewolf murder mystery” - yes, please. But then left me wanting more. I’m looking forward to seeing where this goes in the next chapter.

I loved the atmospheric music and the torn paper aesthetic of the UI.

The progressive disclosure of snippets of the main character’s backstory were well-measured.

The mix of mouse click and spacebar depending on type of progression felt a little bit weird to me, but I got used to it fairly quickly.

Splendid game.

This is a cool concept and I was really intrigued by the different ways to interact and find information.

Though I must say that this game was too smart for me. I really needed the hints and I’m grateful you provided them. :D

I really enjoyed this game. I found the worldbuilding and characterisation subtle and well integrated - really gave a sense of place without any infodumping.

I loved how many options there were for some of the repeated actions - such variety and attention to detail.

Both the journey and the destination were delightful.

Thank you for playing and for your lovely comment. :D

Many thanks for your kind and encouraging comment.

Sorry it was confusing. I kind of knew this was a risk when I submitted it. My hope was to integrate with Unity and to use that and the ink tagging to format text differently based on the type of choice or the speaker of dialogue (which is why it’s all unattributed!)

I totally ran out of time! Ah well, live and learn. :D

Once voting is over, I hope to come back to this and add in everything I didn’t get to. This first taste of game development has truly whet my appetite to try more. :)

Many thanks for trying my game and for your lovely comment.

I actually did write almost all of one of the three main heist strands before realising that I’d massively overestimated what I could do in the time. I’m hoping to write an updated version that does actually include an “Act 2” heist section. But in my Monday morning panic, I thought it would be better to make something that had a beginning and an end and have the middle just implied.

I learned a lot in this first game jam. The main thing being the importance of time management. :D

Many thanks! I appreciate the encouragement.

Thank you for this comment and for trying my game. I was definitely going for a pulpy vibe!

Thank you. This is a lovely and encouraging comment. I do hope to make more games and better games as I increase my skill (and time management abilities).

Thank you for taking the time to play my game and for your comments!

Thank you so much!

Wow. Only just made it back here after the game jam. Life kinda carried me away these past weeks!

I’m overwhelmed by such positive and encouraging comments. Thank you so much everyone for trying my game!
