That was weird and dark and brilliant.
Really good atmospheric writing. that made me want to keep racing through to see the next part of the narrative!
I liked the idea that while the character is always in one room, we see more than one scene because they hallucinates they are elsewhere. (I interpreted the transportation to the weird island to be a hallucination rather than literal.)
I thought the cat's text was funny.
Though the presence of the cat meant the room was not completely empty so I'm not sure how to feel about it.
I liked the use of all lower case text. It makes the thoughts and feeling the character is expressing feel flat, like depression often does.
