Hi TobAlt, glad you enjoyed the sprites. I don't handle requests at the moment since its time consuming creating niche beyond practical and free assets. Also, I can understand why a death animation might be useful, but may I ask why a beheading animation?

It took me an hour to beat the AI. The AI is difficult imo.
10/10, would play again.

This game was recommended to me by someone else in the GMTK discord chat, and I was not disappointed. This game is absolutely amazing. 5/5.
Here are some follow thoughts, I really want to see this game improve and grow:
1. If you make a multiplayer version of this, I'm sure people will buy this.
2. You could add a background to contrast how fast the player is yeeting their self in the sky.
3. The rocket launcher needs recoil aside from the rocket itself, and the massive mini gun enemies are overpowered in my opinion.
The puzzles are a little difficult to grasp at first. I made this puzzle game because I found most puzzle games to be too easy, or ended too briefly. I wanted to make a fair puzzle game where a player would have to sit there and think and savor each problem, maybe for several days on end. Regardless, thank you for taking the time to play the game, and best of luck in the GMTK game jam!
I like the game, but its nice to see the addition of newer textbooks, and powers. It would also be nice to have a cue as to when powers will be switched soon. An instructions page could be included to have the menu screen neater, or rather a demonstration of how the powers work, instead of the instructions. Overall a great game, I had a great laugh burning the math textbooks, and best of luck in the GMTK game jam! 9/10, would fail math again!
Thank you for playing my puzzle game, I'm glad you appreciate the aesthetics and game play! A lot of the code I write comes from years of practice and improvements, and has become a reusable stencil in my projects. It was with this stencil that I was further able to code this game.
As for the theme, In order for something to be out of control, full control needs to be established first, and slowly taken away. The sense of control was slowly being taken away from the player, as the patterns and grids became more absurd, level by level. I really hope this train of thought made sense.
Anyways, best of luck to you in the GMTK game jam!
