Nice. Good to hear. That's a really good point with the puzzles. We already had a discussion on that topic but never came to a solution. In the end it's always the best to ask for playtesters who don't have to play the game every day :) Thanks for your honest feedback. Great help!

If you like, you can also fill in our playtest questionnaire (https://forms.gle/16BhX4o4mbtAA9UEA) and answer a few questions 🙂

Hey everyone,

Here's our first big feature update! 🥳

For starters, we tried to bring in more story: So we added some monologs as well as an update to the 'death' (panic attack) state of Korine to allow you a little more insight into their thoughts. With this change we of course also added a content warning (please stay safe while gaming).

We also listened to everyone testing our games and made some level design changes:

This includes a complete redesign of two rooms which frustrated a lot of people as well shuffling some elements around for better navigation and removing some enemies which in combination were a little too overwhelming.

We also changed the way the projectiles of the Tea Drinker’s Hat regenerate, the visualization of the dash and increased the speed of falling.

With more features we extended our settings menu too and as requested the controls can now be viewed in-game. Take a look around as we also offer some neat accessibility options. If you want to get a general overview about our accessibility features you can look here (https://www.taminggaming.com/en-gb/accessibility/Korine).

We hope you enjoy this version and have fun gaming! 🎮

Thanks. Hope you had a good time playing it :)

Thanks for playing and the kind words :)

Thanks for the detailed critique SplitHare! I think in the next couple of months we will balance the physics of the lamp and the speed of the candle. It was our first Jam and even if the game is not nearly close to be finished, we had a lot of fun creating it. These are some good points you're mentioning, especially the last one, we will definitely keep them in mind. Thank you for playing!

A little bit confusing with so much bullets, and a tutorial would be helpful, but overall a nice idea!

Very good concept, you should return to the game after the jam and make more levels (And maybe improve the music, its a little bit annoying)! It's fun, well done!

Its a little bit too hard for the first levels and you should improve the collision, but I like the idea, a stealth game where you need to think and also react fast. Nice job!

Cool concept, I have no mouse at the moment and its hard to play with a trackpad, but I think with a normal mouse it would have been easier. I also like the music!

Thanks SyllabusGames for your feedback. These are very helpfull points, which we will improve.

At the end of the Jam, we were in a bit hurry. So we couldn't put much love in the leveldesign. The same issue with the candle-timer, which we will adjust to the levels soon.
