While Yes i played your linux build (it worked just fine mind you), but i dont think my issue will be any different running the windows build using wine.

Please… for the life of god, add a sensitivity slider… I dont like low sensitivity, and adding a slider will fix this issue… Having to move my mouse half the world’s length to turn a millimeter is not fun, and i cant play it like this.

Another issue is of FOV/Field of View. Implement a slider for this, up to at least 90 degrees (higher will be even more appreciated).

The very little i played through was fun though, the sensitivity made me delete it alone. and while FOV is not nearly as important, the normal/low FOV of 70 or so does make me sick after a while.

Recommendation, you should try posting a GOG version… i would be willing to buy it there! Steam is nice and all, but i would rather buy as few games there as possible

Thanks, and yes i am polishing it up! I already have a drive folder open with an update that has better performance then the one submitted currently, but not much else…

Currently i am planning on making the ai actually smart, along with adding the customization features, like custom pieces that i had planned at the start.

Really like how the jams give you a random buff or nerf. like inverted controls, or the one where it moves towards the mouse… took me a while to realize how to use the grenade launcher gun which explodes where ever the mouse is.

chess ai is indeed difficult, but the ai really is more of a random number generator with a slight thing to make it move the king piece if it is playing its pieces and the king is checkmated. I actually have the update back to the same point as this one, which is great, so i can update this when i its unlocked

For one, i had planned to add actual AI instead of it randomly picking pieces, and two the detection is all wonky. I am making an update in order to fix these issues, sadly i didn’t finish it before the deadline so it’ll have to wait. Because the detection is wonky, you literally can win if the game has any slight chance of seeing if the enemy’s king is “checkmated”.
