Very fun game, and sufficiently difficult!

Good music, and really good art! The music reminds me of ultima underworld for some reason, and I really like the dungeon tiles. But gameplay wise, it felt too easy, and I felt I had no reason to use any other spell. Don't be discouraged tho, these can be fixed with balancing.

I'm bad at puzzles, but it's quite enjoyable! And I like how the effects and music you used fit nicely with each other.

Thank you for the feedback! I'll try and incorporate these into my game and also make the help screen appear before gameplay. And as for the music, I'm not sold on it either. I made it very quickly as a stopgap in case I ran out of time, and I'm not good with chiptune, so the only solution I can give is mute it lol.

P.S. I tried your submission, but it won't run on my hardware, which I'm guessing is because I only have really old iGPU (an intel hd 2500 and 4400) but I could be wrong.

Thanks for playing my game!

I tried your game, but it wont launch. I'm guessing you used forward+ or mobile for rendering? If thats the case, I may not be able to play it, as I only have really old hardware (intel hd 2500 and a 4400), which really sucks :((

First off, fun game, and the music is quite nice. The main map music is very atmospheric, and the boss music tense, though the latter doesn't loop. The art is also very pleasing to look at. I like the transform mechanic, and having to balance your fire's charge by going back and forth. The prison is very easy, feels more like an intro and tutorial, which is nice. But was not expecting the final boss to be that, I guess. Not saying it's bad, just unexpected. The boss itself is quite difficult, and a single mistake cost me my life, and I need to really focus to beat it, which I haven't yet. Very good overall.

I really like this game, really felt like a ww2 sniper, taking his time to put the target on sights, I love how you managed to fit it all into a postcard and keep it simple.

Although I feel it's a bit more luck based than I personally like, and I was thinking a roll and allocate mechanic for shot difficulty, shot position, and shot range might be better suited, at least for my taste. I was thinking about adding more disadvantages and advantages for each range, position, and difficulty. I'll try it out later and see what I come up with.

But yeah, good game, this one's actually worth printing!

really good artstyle, unique game mechanics, although i think the clues are a bit too vague and lacking, i practically had to guess, but i'd love to see the mechanics expanded upon, especially that deduction chart, love that. finally, i don't know if it was just me but it was super laggy for some reason.
