this was fun.  nice simple music.  I liked the background stars moving.  the hitbox for the anvils seems too big.  I finally died picking up a present, expecting to stop right before an anvil.  but i got speed, so i shot under the anvil anyway lol.  that was kinda fun.

I found this kind of boring.  it was an interesting mechanic, but not very challenging.  It would have been nice if there were more levels (maybe i just didn't play long enough to see them?)

The art and music were good. the action was smooth and nice.

This was fun.  the hitbox for the anvil may have been a little bit big.  And is it my imagination, or do the anvils drop according to the notes of the song?

This was a lot of fun.  i played it a few times.  it would be nice if i could click the mouse to throw the snowballs, instead of space.  nice graphics.  nice upgrade.  i liked how the player constantly said things like 'i can do this' or 'i have that' to let me know what to do.

also, minor bugs that i saw:

sometimes hitting space brought me back to the first room.  sometimes, that brought snowmen with me (if they were hitting me)

if 2 snowmen were on top of eachother when one died, they both disappeared.  but the other one could still attack and take damage (while invisible)

This was a really fun game.  loved the adorable cat animations.  gameplay was easy and intuitive.  it was fun.   I was a bit disappointed when i got to 5000 points that a "You Win!" screen didn't display or something.

Fun game.  the sound was a bit much.  very static-y

That was so much fun.  the simple joy of jumping up, knocking a toy down while i go higher for more?  golden.

being able to just toss things off and not worry about it?

priceless.

i wish there was more after i completed it.  some sort of delivery minigame.  then another (different) puzzle level?

I'm in tears! I was so invested and then the page reloaded on my end because it was using too much memory. I was 2 coins away from the 30 goal!! I wanted Pebbles to reach his goal!!

It a really cute game, love the concept of getting the orders and making them. Took me a minute to get use to the controls but once I knew what I was doing I was hooked and wanted to keep going until I made my goal!! Super cute and fun!

The only constructive thing I could say is that the temperature progress bar not moving back and forth makes it very hard when you miss the green bit.

Bonus points for this gem "t’s penguining to look a lot like Christmas"

Bro, pass.

loved the music and the intro song.  you paused at the end of a verse and i thought it was over.  went to click start, and you kept singing.....  I didn't wanna play!!!  i wanted to hear the rest, it was fucking hilarious.

gameplay:

OMG...  I HATE the mechanic to move!!!!  damnit, i just wanna walk!  what, an anvil a'int got feet, so i can't run?!  damn damn damn.  I fucking hate how much i love this!  god, why is this so good!

(Read: this is very frustrating, but it is that good kinda frustrating that makes you want to master it)

Landing on the platforms is beautiful!  often, in platformers, the hit/miss is so finicky that it just frustrates too much to keep playing.  you have struck the perfect balance (on the Granvil, n0 doubt) between being easy to land on the platform, but hard to aim right.  as soon as i launch, i can tell i missed, and that it was ME, not mechanics, that missed.  which, again, makes me want to master it.

great level design.  combination of vertical climb/fall, with horizontal sections that keep you from losing progress.  This is

art:

beautiful game.  love the animation, the colours, the style.  perfect.

music:

perfectly matched to the type of gameplay.  not so agressive that i need more action.  not so slow that i get bored.  just great "chill out and play" music.

P.S. -princess loves platformers and loves that you made this game!

P.P.S - i hope it's clear by the length of this that this has been my favourite game out of this jame so far....  also sorry about the essay lol

I fucking loved this game! The moment the game started I was hooked. Was already having a fun time and had gotten the faster snowballs but you should have heard the scream of joy I screamed when I found out you could get bigger snowballs! Love how you made the option of how many NPCs to play with.

If you were to update the game the one thing I can think would be making it so once I die I can still affect the game in some way or that the game would end sooner once I die. Just because the rounds I died first it took quite a while for the other 3 NPCs to die but I just wanted to play again!

Beautiful art and animation (i especially love the trailing effect!).  i couldn't really figure out what to do, or how to do it.  it would be nice if i could go collect resources or something?

I liked the open world kinda thing.  But i couldn't see anything.  if i'm a cop investigating, i should have a flashlight.  there should be a lightswitch...  Something so i can see better.

Better yet, I'd like to have a brightness adjustment.  I know the intent is the feel of darkness.  and to be clear, i love that in games, that feeling of oppressive darkness.  but my eyes aren't very good, so i couldn't see anything

Really fun game. Simple yet the premise of trying to get a better score in the timeframe makes it compelling to play over and over.

If you are looking to update it or tweak it I would suggest making each round a bit longer. I like the game and the challenge but I want more than 30 seconds!

Really loved the idea and execution of this game!! I could see it as something I could spend a while playing. I will say it was pretty hard past round 1 to the point that it made it harder to want to keep going, didn't feel like I was making progress.

Thank you for the review!  i agree we have some progress to make on the combat and animations.  We want the combat to be challenging (in a fun way), but it's kind of more frustrating right now....
