1965, Cold War. Atrocities of WWII are almost forgotten. Nonetheless, a special task force is set out to hunt Nazis down. As its leader, you will be gathering evidence of war crimes against them and forcibly bringing these criminals to justice.
After WWII, numerous Nazis managed to slip through the cracks and escape overseas. This is why INCU (International Nazi Crime Unit) has been established with one and only specific goal in mind: to find them and get them back for a fair trial. You will assume the role of officer who is looking for a distinct group of scoundrels. Every member of this group once used to be on staff at the most notorious concentration camp sadly known as «Ashland». In the past all of them committed extremely heinous crimes and now it is time to answer for it.
This demo features:
- One operation with optional goals
- One evidence analysis
- One 1942 memory in the concentration camp
It overall accounts for less than 5% of the total game, but still it's supposed to last around 45 minutes if every objective is achieved.

Howdy dear colleagues. I've got this issue that needs to be solved.
So I'm selling a game here and say I already have some keys. So what is the buyer actually buying? Is he buying that Steam key only? Or is he buying both the key and the archive of the game that I MUST add too?
So can I just sell a Steam key or I firstly I need to sell the archive and then it's up to me whether to add the key or not?
Hope it's clear enough ) Thanx )
Would you like to meet the protagonist? 'Cause he sure as hell wants to meet you.

Brief#2. Uniform
Few more sketches for today and a bit of new info.
Since we have the special service here, we must develop some kind of uniform for these guys, right?
But first let's see what our main protagonist looked like at the beginning.
These were the first sketches that the artist had shown to me. As you can see we went on with the first variant.
This is what Vinnie Boyd - his senior partner - looked like initially. He was read but then turned gray (due to his job probably)
The Devoters have ranks and according to these ranks their uniform differs too.
You can see 3 stripes on his left shoulder. Each rank has different marking.
Lenny, being the Acolyte at first, has his own collar gem. Later on, as he works his way up the hierarchy, his outfit will change.

Brief#1. Developing further
It turned out that we somehow came to decorating with that slight slavic touch. Once we had the quasi-gendarme ready, more or less we knew where to go. So, in future of course we will see more of that costume design.
On the other side, our setting almost has no boundaries as the civilization could've headed basically in any direction after the Apocalypse. In this sense, our hands were untied and we could use some kind of eclectic decoration. In the Pitch for publisher I wrote "The Wire meets Training day with House of cards in the mix" but now I also would include Mad Max + The Wicker man.
That's the "9th Mill" Gangbanger.
In short, this is a story about how a special task force (something between FBI and Inquisition) is fighting against crime and any ideological or religious sedition. It starts as a buddy-movie but then grows into something bigger and deeper. Gradually the Lore started to develop and to encase it we decided to introduce the Velvet book.

Howdy dear ladies and gents. While we're working on the full game to list it asap, I thought that sharing some our pre-pro materials may be fun. (Hope it's not against the rules and if it is I kindly ask admin to redirect me to the better branch).
Brief#1. Fresh start
Few words about myself. I'm an author and have so far published 3 books, here in Russia. Being keen on history, I usually tend to draw my inspiration from the times long gone. So this project was not an exception in this sense, only this time it's a game, not the book.
We started in February last year as soon as I had the script for the first Episode ready (it's supposed to be episodic project, although there is still a chance that we'll make one whole big 10+ hour game). Back then we didn't really have any visual or stylistic concept in mind.
That's how the Guardsman looked at first.
Well, I mean that's how the artist thought he looked. However I had a different vision. If I knew one thing for certain that was me not wanting your typical, trivial elf-knight-orc-dragon kinda stuff. That's too cliched at the moment, I think. What we needed was some fresh wind, the universe which could resonate in a new way (if that's possible at all).
That's what the Guardsman was transformed to.
That's how the Guardsman looks now.

My only concern at the moment is that maybe we should grant the player 3 lives instead of 2. This way he/she has a bigger room for maneuver, this way it will be a bit easier to try more cards before dying.
Actually it was a real pleasant surprise that someone made a video about PP this fast. That's really cool. Also you didn't get to turn the music on ) It's there, down below in the pop-up menu. If you liked the art-style, you'll probably like the soundtrack too)
Thanx for your comment! It's really important for us to have such kind of feedback. The battle system has a pattern, trust me) Each opponent's card is beaten by one of ours. You just gotta figure out which one. I know it looks like it's a bit on the hardcore side but that was the initial intention. For those who wouldn't like to really dig in it we added the Skip button. However we might think about maybe making it a bit clearer. Thanx again!
Howdy dear ladies and gents!
We have published a demo of our game called Project Pastorate.
https://psyrob.itch.io/project-pastorate
Here's the trailer:
Here's the gameplay:
Basically it's a visual novel set in the land of crime and sin that needs to be cleansed. This task is taken up by the Devoters, the special service whose main purpose is to preserve the safety of the country; and the Pastor - leader of this post-apocalyptic community.
The full game will offer multiple endings, story-driven narrative and everything else you like so much about VN's.
Please try it and share your thoughts on this demo. We really hope you'll enjoy it, guys)
