sorry about that,  to be honest, I'm not developing this anymore, but yes the game is somewhat problematic, maybe I'll fix it someday but for now I want to focus on my 3d games, please look forward to those! rpgmaker is just a nightmare to work in, but I'm cooking something that I think will be really interesting :)

I've learned a lot about game dev so this time I will try to avoid making similar mistakes

(despite testing the rpgmaker game while making it, and then testing the game with the engines built in the test function, the production build is the one I failed (didn't think I'd have to test on as I

had been testing throughout development) and this led to an array of issues I was sure I solved but popped out of nowhere on release)

hm i'm away from my pc at the moment but, if the game comes in a zip folder you should extract it, if you don't have an extraction tool, download 1 called 7-zip, i think its one of the best, try to get it from the main website as others may have viruses or other spamware etc etc.

if that's not the issue and you can see every file, clicking on the rpgmaker icon with the little man standing on a block should open the game

icon will look like this, but it's really small depending on your file explorer settings so check all of them/ enlarge your viewer options, if it's still not working, try to narrow down the issue, show me what's actually wrong by going into one of my recent devlogs, finding the discord server and post some screenshots there

sorry i don't plan to specifically create a mac version, but it should work on mac by default from what I've read online

I'll make an announcement in like a week :) just need to make posters for the new games itch page/write some news scenes and all that jazz

Maybe, but where's the magic in that? begrudgingly following trends in order to make a "profit" sounds dull, that's why indie games are so much better than triple-A games. triple-A games figured out a formula 15 years ago and are too scared to deviate from it,  or have too many investors blocking the game's creative process. e.g. the assassins creed series.

Maybe I should've said I'm trying to gauge interest while also doing my own thing. That's what indie devs about mixing old things into new things.

profit isn't the most significant factor for me either, enjoyment is. I want to enjoy what I create and I like my niche, I won't make what everyone else makes just to make a profit. Variety is the spice of life, in future games sure, I don't mind making a male MC/choose you're own gender doohickey, but as I've previously stated those will be their own fun ideas in other games.

I will make the best game I can. make sure I spread the word properly this time. and then gauge interest.

there's always a need to gauge interest, but I've had the idea of creating a choose-your-own-gender mechanic in some future sandboxy games, so look out for that 👌

short answer:
most likely
long answer:
I'm considering it since this gets asked often enough, it just seems a little vanilla to add a male, but if you guys really want a male I'm not against the idea, I'll make a poll or something so I can gauge interest

yeah, it was pretty upsetting, but I've learned a lot from Developing Crummy Classroom and my future games will be better for it, the next ones looking great already.
but yeah Crummy Classroom taught me so much, I'm still learning lessons from it, it was such a great experience for me, most devs first games don't do well so I'm glad I had a little success :)

Yeah, it is, sorry about that. but I and Nethuum are no longer working together, so I've been learning 3d in order to work on other titles and finish CC(Crummy classroom) at a later date Here's a pic of the main character from the next game, Crummy Constellation.

lol yeah, when I have time to remake the models, sure :), I've got a solo game for Lily coming up eventually, "Crummy Clues" you'll probably like that as well.

hm, I'm not sure what you mean by "sizes", that's a bit too inconspicuous, are we talking boobs or schlongs? probably boobs right? hm yeah, I'll most likely redo models and make them bigger in the next game.
