hi, so the Halloween update was great, but now whenever I try to load one of the save files from the game before the update, this happens.not to mention the fact that I can only start new games from the update. Is there anything I can do to fix this? Is this a bug? Pls respond @Dawnchorus
Ok I decided to follow Klaus on day one and wtf you didn't tell me this was a horro game. If I wanted to get scared by furries I'd have stayed playing echo. I found this game and wanted to play to have a break from the horror stuff mannnn. And this Klaus thing where nobody's got any memory of him except us, man I hate when horror games n movie to that it's so scaryyy ☹️
Also I haven't played all routes yet, only tjs and Leo's so there's definitely more fucked up and very possibly worse things. Leo's was enough to fuck me up and make me cry a bunch of times already
You might not see it all with just one go, on the first route that I played, tj, things weren't NEARLY as crazy and scary as Leos route,but that doesn't mean tjs route wasn't good, it really was. Leo's route was definitely more impactful and fucked up
ok so, I had just finished the plant guest, and the other cutscene, when out of nowhere, I went to talk to bucky and penny, and then suddenly everyone's there?? I went and talked to each one of them and from the way they were talking I assumed they had gathered there for a confrontation or something?? Like, penny said she couldn't do nothing with her wings, so she'd be supervising from above and giving supplies, and the rat (can't remember her name srr) said she'd be making sure everything goes according to plan etc. I genuinely thought we were about to clash with a hostile neighbor town or a horde of "monsters" cause the scenery was beginning to darken and I thought maybe monsters or smt spawned at night lmaoooo cool game so far tbh
I've just finished Leo's route with Kudzu and I have to say, this game is beautiful, so tragic, yet so beautiful. The story is so deep and mysterious, and the bounds you can form with the characters go so deep. Truly a masterpiece. A once in a lifetime experience... no matter how long I keep playing this game, or for how long I stop thinking about it after I finish all routes, I wanna remember these stories forever.
For anyone who hasn't noticed it yet, click on the lake in the title!!!!! It shows you all the story parts you've gone through already, and click on the things at the bottom of the lake too, they're interactable and lead to different things, the one on the right leads to the different days of the game and the different days where your choice where different, and it looks like there's some unique stories on chase's section, so yeah, make sure to go see these secrets!
Okay, I thought it over, and- yeah, chase was definitely falling for tj before the thing started affecting him, and I think he got so possessive and obsessed because of the town's influence. Tj clearly didn't reciprocate though... the way he acted when chase kissed him, and all after that... i now see that everyone that happened after chase killed flynn, tj really isn't in love with chase. Chase's obsession with tj is toxic and he's way too messed up because of everything that happened. If tj does end up choosing to be with him (Haven't finished the story yet) he's definitely doing it because of the trauma he went through- this isn't love. Chase is unhealthy obsessed and tj is traumatized so much to the point hes gonna be very easily manipulated, not to mention his already trusting nature. I thought it was a bit bad how things ended up, but now I see it's worse. Its so way worse. It's a sick, toxic unhealthy, trauma based relationship they've formed, and chase definitely isn't good for tj. Tj doesn't love him, and everything he does after what happened its because of their shared trauma.
Im not 100 percent sure how im feeling. This has put a bitter taste in my mouth. I don't feel like things ended up good, not because flynn is dead and so is Sydney- even if the town was making Sydney act like that, which now im actually not sure, he might just have been a psychopath piece of shit, and I loved chase drowning him- but because, like, the thing made them do those things... back then with Sydney and now with Flynn, and now they're just going to get out of there without going over any of that? Literally just forget what happened like the first time? Man, this leaves a bad taste in my mouth.. not to mention that with how everything ended everything feels a bit toxic about chase and his obsession with tj. I guess he's not going to hurt him or whatever, after all he did all that for him, bur still, its fucking messed up. I didn't really like how this ended, but of course, this is a horror game and obviously this angst feeling is part of the story, like yeah things are supposed to end messed up like this. And while I really don't like how this has got me feeling about chase and tjs relationship, I get why its intentional. Its supposed to be like that... great gamr though. I've only played tjs route so far but I've got to say I would definitely pay for this. Unfortunately im a minor and I can't ask for my parents to pay for me, but maybe if I remember this when im older I'll definitely pay the creator somehow! This game's amazing!
This has been a wild ride, for sure... I loved it, but also hated it- I know that chase being angry and so possessive over tj had to do with the town messing him up, but fuck, that shit hit me like a slap to the face, that scene where tj runs away...
So, the town manipulates people into doing horrible things, like Sydney trying to kill tj and chase being made go through with killing Flynn, so that the responsible ones can keep those horrible secrets to themselves and that feeds it I guess? I think it probably has to do with the quartz or whatever, like the coyote said. It absorbers the bad things that happen and maybe somehow that energy created the entity that manipulates people? She also said that sometimes, when the conditions are right, the quartz releases back into the town the horrible memories of what happened, like the fox hanging himself. Just... wow. That last part where chase killed Flynn and now hes together with tj saying how he wonders if they're gonna forget all this happened again, just like with Sydney... makes me think the town also does this, this effect of making people forget, so the secrets can remain buried.

okay, im on Tuesday, I think? In that scene where the groups on Sydneys old house and talking to the red panda- when something got my attention. Im calling it right now: Tj is possessed by Sydneys ghost. Chase said himself it was impossible that Sydney would've mentioned on the birdhouse letter about how chase was scared of the woods because chase saw the hanging fox years after Sydney died. And the red panda mentioned how someone tried breaking in the house a few days before- you see where im going. Tj broke into the house, planted the letter in the shoe box and left. At first I wouldn't necessarily think it was Tj, but with how he knew EXACTLY where the box was without even entering the house, im like nah, he HAS to have something to do with it, not to mention the fact that its been 10 years and the new owner would've found it by now. I think the personality changes going on with tj and his obsession over finishing the hunt is because he's being influenced somehow. Like by Sydneys ghost or something
Thats funny, i see more negative comments in a game about bugs on and in your cock, with graphics that aren't even "realistic" or "nausea inducing" than children's cartoon's based porn games where you really do vile things to the characters
