Thank you for having a read! I just wanted to let you all know that the Steam Page is live now! You can wishlist there so you don't miss out on release updates. Also, it's a metric Steam uses to determine how I'm displayed when the game does release. Check it out and Wishlist if you think it's nifty!

Greenwood Falls on Steam

If you're on Reddit be sure to join the community now (all 2 of us lol) I'll be posting gifs and neat things there.

You are so kind! When I get a demo that I can be pretty happy with you will be the first to try! The only thing I worry about is making a demo that accidentally scares people away. Once I have the foundation put together and it's solid - I will get you a copy to play with :)

Tell me about features you've seen in other games that you would enjoy in Greenwood Falls!

Love it! Thank you for the reply. You do great work, keep at it :D

I love it - made the purchase! I Found it in the Game Maker Reddit FYI (in case you're keeping track of where we come from lol). My one request would be an interior set including some unique home interiors, inn, tavern, shops, and maybe castle. If it had all of that right now I'd be using it for my current project. I'll definitely keep this in my pocket for the next one though. Thank you!

Perhaps in the future as well maybe some more enemies and characters in a separate pack (or maybe an update to this one lol but that's me being greedy :D).

Thank you!

I'm not gonna lie, I've spend easily 20 hours playing this game over the last 3 days. Very addicting. This game should be on Steam and you should put it on the appstore as well.

Just a small note for the web version on the phone - I can't seem to choose who I attack. On pc it's simple but for the phone I can't choose. Other than that, this is lightning in a bottle!

Thank you!

Thank you for the feedback! I really did intend for the controller to be used, but I may come up with a new menu screen just for control settings and allow the player to rebind the keys! Thank you for playing :)

Thank you for playing, and for your kind words 😊

Hi everyone, I just listed about 13 jam games that I've made over the last 6 years on my page. This one specifically is one of my favorites looking back, and it placed 23 in Ludum Dare that year! Have a peak and play some games if you wanna :)

Text Based Adventure is a top down shooter where you play as U, and make your way to defeat Z - who wants to rule the alphabet.  Battle through 5 levels, using 4 weapons - and defeat the final boss. Then do it again in challenge mode if you would like!

Thank you so much!
