Text Based Adventure (it's actually a top down shooter)

Hi everyone, I just listed about 13 jam games that I've made over the last 6 years on my page. This one specifically is one of my favorites looking back, and it placed 23 in Ludum Dare that year! Have a peak and play some games if you wanna :)

Text Based Adventure is a top down shooter where you play as U, and make your way to defeat Z - who wants to rule the alphabet.  Battle through 5 levels, using 4 weapons - and defeat the final boss. Then do it again in challenge mode if you would like!

impressive!

This reminds me of some of the first javascript games I played back in my teen days (before the big space rock wiped out all the dinos); back then we called it DHTML instead of HTML5, and due to the limitations of DHTML sprite-based games were rather rare and hard to come by. Most good games involved a ton of loose alphanumeric characters, and their interface would resemble your game's interface by a lot.

Thanks for the nostalgia.

Thank you for playing, and for your kind words 😊
