At this point, I find it more fitting to have an unsteady status with him if he's gonna do that either way. I understand it's part of his charac that he can't just dismantle just coz of the Crown since things between them are just starting, and even at this point they still barely know each other. 

But yeah. I dislike angst if used needlesly, but somehow the angst in his route gave it flavor. I CAN'T TURN AWAY FROM IT. 

Looking forward to more chapters and the game's completion!

I've binged-read from Book 1 until the latest chap of Book 2. Latest happenings were absolutely heart-wrenching, but I'm willing to go through the angst if it meant there's a light at the end of the tunnel. 🥹😭 Dealing with the aftermath in Book 2 was heart-breaking, but I'm here to go through it.

Do you have a downloadable file for the game? I was able to play on my phone whenever I'm on mobile data, but not on PC. For some reason, itch decided to have a grudge against my ISP. The website is not loading any kind of image and can't even run browser games (already made a report about it). (T__T) And this only happened recently. I was able to play browser games just fine before.

I was hoping I could play in my PC via a downloaded file, but if that's not possible, that's fine! I just hope itch and my ISP decides to let me just play this game on my PC later.

So, I encountered the issue again of images and thumbnails not loading in this particular website. It would've been just fine until I realized I can't run browser games as well. It kept saying "Connection reset"

And I checked on my phone, it's the same way unless I change to mobile data. It could be an ISP issue since I don't have any issue with the images or the browser game when I access it on my phone with a different ISP (not connected to the same connection as my PC).

So, aside from using a VPN, is there any other workaround for this? I encountered this issue before but after a day, I was able to see the images again.  But this has been going for quite a few days.

I don't know why I've put off trying this one. But Rook, you've made yet another masterpiece. Have I mentioned how I really really really love your writing? The words you used were not overly complex yet they invoked this vivid image of what you were going for and leaving some to the readers/players' creative imagination.

I love how you set the ambience of the manor, the village, the forest. And though this is bite-sized, I feel so full after consuming this. I also love the little detail regarding The Spectre. If you ever plan to make another short one like this, I hope I'd get to be one of those who'll be first in line to experience it.

This made me giggle, roll eyes (in a good way), blush, sob, and be teary-eyed. I love it. I love the whole concept of the game. It was clever to use the UI as part of the whole game. And the music player??? I'm so at awe how pretty it was and how it was such a marvelous idea, adding to the overall aesthetic of the game.

And Van??? LET'S NOT TALK ABOUT HOW I WANT TO HAVE A MAN LIKE THIS IN MY LIFE. Even the banter with him felt so natural that I even rolled eyes (in real life) at him (and surprise surprise, MC rolled eyes as narrated as well!). Dang. He's making me fall in love with "love". Like... that warm and fuzzy feeling inside of the feeling of being in love (even when I'm single lol).

I love everything about this, and despite it being short, it didn't leave me unsatisfied. In fact, I felt full by consuming this whole game in less than an hour... And to think it's free. Thank God for creators like you.

I replayed the demo and honestly, I didn't expect to have new encounters. For some reason, there are two LIs unlocked that were never there on my first runs (that happened last year). I don't recall any decisions with a heart icon, but I'm assuming it was because of my moral alignment (went for pure altruistic)? I'm pleasantly surprised coz I loved the new encounters in the end of the demo.

I can't wait to see more of this!

Glob. Blue... so dangerous yet so alluring. I keep wanting to dive head first to the dangers and uncertain for him. Lol. You guys are really so amazing at fleshing out characters like this. I'm sooooo looking forward to the full version. Any estimation when the full version is coming?

Dang. This game is good! UI is cool, theme, colors, and the overall aesthetic. I also like the gameplay incorporated to it though at first, I was a bit disoriented coz I was used to just narrative VNs with some choices. But I like it! The friendship of these 3 made me tear up, hoping I could also meet my precious online friends someday. Lonan is precious. Though I usually find similar characters cringey, I love how his internal struggles were fleshed out in a short time without it being unnatural or forced. I liked him and his route.
I'm running the Galvin route now. Here's to hoping how I can break through the wall of these tsudere-ish guy(coz he's actually honest most of the time)

Oh, glob. I love this. Just the early parts of first chapter was enough to pull me into the story and immersed me in the world inside it. My glob. I'm reeling from the betrayal, and I feel all the emotions so much. 

I really love the way you write your stories, poignant and immersive. I'm looking forward to more of this.

I've played the game a few months ago. Forgive me if I'm only expressing how much I love the story and game right now (coz I'm planning to re-play it again hehe).

Reed.
This guy. Tbh, I never expected to love him so much because Laurent first caught my eye. BUT THEN REED HAPPENED. From the beginning, I really wanted to choose Laurent, but then I met Reed and the interactions with him made me choose him at the point where I had to choose someone.

The friends to lovers thing really made me into a gushing mess. I love how his and MC's relationship progressed through his route. Not gonna say anything more. ALSO THE ENDEARMENT HE USES. I kinda ignored it at first coz I was like "maybe it's a common way to refer to your friend like buddy or something" but then I translated it... Let's just say I loved him even more. I used a machine translator for his and his brother's conversation, and it really made me so...

As for the story, the plot, the world-building... I love it! I'm really into stories w/ action and romance, so this really suits my taste. I'm looking forward to the full version.

Also... is "The Memory Of..." not available to download anymore? @_@ I'm a bit confused how to download it.

My heart. It instantly boosted my mood. I love this. Looking forward to the whole thing. :3

I've been in love with this game ever since I binged played it, and I just realized I really haven't given a comment about it. Lol.

Well, what can I say? This game had my heart and mind in a vice grip. I still haven't recovered from it despite almost a month had already passed since I played it. 

- background art is spectacular! The details!!!

- character design is *chef's kiss*. The small details of their outfit and uniform, I love it.

- story was a heck of a rollercoaster ride,. The action! The adrenaline! The thrill of the fight! I'm sucked into the scenario, and I always feel personally affected because it was really *chef's kiss*. Not to mention, the downtime scenes and moments crucial to the character. I love that there is an option to go soft or go sexy with the way you flirt. X)

- interesting choice of background music, especially in Cursa where there's background chatter that doesn't sound human. It was immersive.

- the options how you can react to the situation! I like that you can be emotional, and no one will judge you for it. Sure, there are morals clashing, but when your MC gets emotional in situations where it is realistic, no one would beat them for it.

All in all, this game easily became one of my favorites.

I just finished it after going in blind. I had my first ending and a lot of save slots occupied. XD I got a lot to say, so here goes:

What I love/like:

- the background sound that are sometimes subtle, sometimes apparent: crowd chatter, environment sounds and all

- the plot. I love the rollercoaster ride. 

- the loveable characters: main and side!

- the number of save slots I can peruse. (I badly need this as someone who's overly anxious about every decision)

- Nerifiel

- the world-building elements!

- headstrong and a likeable MC (regardless of the choices and approach, I find the MC to have quite a personality that is not to be undermined)

- dynamic emotions and expressions shown in characters, even in the MC!

What I am less pleased about are just a few:

1. the sprite changing from one position to another: one moment the charac is on the leftmost part, the next line, they're on the other end. It's distracting and a bit annoying. Only got used to it later, but it was something I really don't appreciate in the game

2. In the save slot sections, I wish you can sidescroll the page numbers beyond 10. Though there is an arrow button, I hardly knew it was to flip to another page if I didn't happen to randomly click about. Was this intended or a bug on my part?

3. I can't romance Neri (sulks in the corner). Just kidding! XD I appreciate platonic relationships in the game, and I gotta say, Neri and MC's was really pleasant!

So yeah, just two things I didn't like. XD

I understand that the difficulty of going through the whole game lies on its gameplay of stat-building rather than it just being plain difficult. Also, I know it's one factor for replayability, so I respect it. 

Still don't understand about the Daily Death Count as I never had those? Was it because I kept loading a previous saves after dying once, twice, thrice and so forth? Were they never counted if I do that? :O
Anyway, I ought to find out in my next playthroughs. Another inquiry/ies: How many endings does one LI have? I'm assuming among the 8 endings, some of them could be an ending to encounter in common route or in times when MC chooses no one (is that even possible?)

To sum it up, I love the game! It took me half a day to finish. I decided to purchase it after playing the Royal Order's demo, to satiate my craving for the full completion of that game. I wasn't disappointed! Great job with the games! :D

The demo had me on the edge of my seat from the beginning then boom! I was completely speechless by the end of it. I love the plot, the characters and their interactions, and even the stats-raising part of it. It does remind me of D&D a little. Don't get me started with the chibi parts. They are so adorbs! It's been a while since I've played a game like this. It's refreshing to experience yet again, and I am so looking forward to see this in its complete form.

I love Nerifiel!! I actually considered him to be my first route until I realized he's not included in the choices for romance. XD Nevertheless, I feel our friendship with him is just as precious. Can't wait to see more of him.

Beringer is too adorbs. I like that he has a sassy side. I love this kid.

Also... he has an uncanny resemblance with Lucius, or is it just me? O_O

When I tried the demo, I had a dilemma of choosing between him and Neri. But then, I realized, Neri isn't even an option. T_T But dang! In the last few parts of the demo, he really went for my heart. Now, I can't wait to see more of him and his interactions with MC. I'm freaking in love.

I personally love it when much efforts are put even in the small details. You should be proud of this work! Thank you for working hard. Looking forward for more of the game. :D

I love the sound and visual effects! The story is intriguing, and I personally like the UI design. Elements of the story were enough to hook me in, and a peek of the characters' story and interaction had me wanting for more. Great work to the devs! Can't wait for the full game to come!

I'm so in love with Quest T_T Oh, glob. I wish there could be like part 2 or just extended version of the happy ending coz hnnggg. I couldn't get enough of Quest. 

Also, it'd be nice to have discord friend like salo T_T imparting words of wisdom with life experiences. I really love those kind of people who are like salo.
