I used Twine with the Sugarcube story format! It's open source and completely free to use. Also, for you and anyone else interested in getting into using Twine and creating your own games, there is a really good beginner's guide someone put together to help get you started (again, only for the Sugarcube format, I'm not aware of anything similar for Harlowe or other formats). They also have further Twine resources linked on the page as well.
The best outcome you can get for D in that scene is that command of the army is temporarily transferred to one of their lieutenants while they recover, but any talk of removing their title is shot down by the Crown/their allies. The worst case scenario is that the Crown is badgered into looking for substitutes while D recovers and D risks having their title stripped from them during that time.
Which outcome you get depends on whether you were successfully able to fire the Minister of Law in CH9, and if you did not manage that, then whether you were able to recruit any allies such as Lady Naza or Minister Awir. If you didn't manage to fire the Minister of Law and you have neither Lady Naza or Minister Awir on your side, then you will get the worst outcome. Hope that helps!!
Oh no worries, I can just give you the link: https://forms.gle/ZdsLLLcDGz5mJRpC8
Romance points are separate from friendship points, so yes! The love interests you didn't choose will have a new counter for friendship points after CH4, so you can safely focus on getting the romance points up for your main one before then.
It will also be possible to max out all the friendships in a single run as well, so I wouldn't worry about that too much either. Unlike the romance route, the game handles the friendships very generously haha
Thank you, that's very kind of you to say!! 💖💖 And no need to feel basic for just romancing one love interest, we all have a favorite flavor of ice cream haha.
Though I would encourage trying out the other routes between updates even if you're not particularly interested in the romance! They each offer new background/worldbuilding to the setting and even new insights into the other LIs ✨
X romancers especially should try out A's route for reasons I will not spoil (and vice versa) 👀
It could be that you accidentally extracted each individual file outside of the folder? This is what the contents in your extracted folder should look like:
Otherwise I'm not sure why it would be empty. You could try downloading 7zip or Winrar to extract the file with, rather than using the Windows extract option? Maybe that's what is causing your issue!
The Crown's gender is completely up to the player's personal headcanons, it won't come up in the story at any point, so if you decide your Crown is trans then they're trans. Choosing your Crown's pronouns is also disconnected from that. If you give your Crown she/her pronouns, for example, the game doesn't automatically assume the Crown is a cis woman; it's purely about how they wish to be addressed by others.
Also, it's important to note that in Arsur, gender isn't assigned at birth. So in the game, being cisgender or transgender doesn't really exist in the same way, if that makes sense. Everyone decides individually as they grow up how they express their gender and what feels most natural to them. Some might physically change their bodies, others might not--you can also headcanon that as you like, since the game won't go into that for the Crown either.
Hope that clarifies things for you!!
