I love how this game is inspired in misterious ancient civilizations, because even though there are a lot of wonders from the past, some enigmatic features and arthefacts might result highly uncanny: specially if you find yourself alone with one of them in the dark... And this game translates that emotion perfectly, specially for those who admire arqueology.

This game creates the perfect ambience it needs to create an eerily wonderful experience. It is an outstanding representation of an archeologist (an those professionals would love the game too), and definitely invites players to wait for high expectations for the continuation.

I am not really into the horror genre, yet I understand that a final climax of the experience with the creature would've been the cherry on top (as it has been mentioned by others), nevertheless, I understand the possible limitations that a jam demands if it was not enough time to show the design of the beast (however, I also respect cretive choices too), but considering the quality of the artstyle and the overall game, I am sure that the creator would've presented a worthy demonic entity to the conclusion; in that case, I would not doubt a second to give 5 stars.

Congratulations, I consider this game a short but beautiful gem!

Dear creator, this game IS AWESOME. I LOVE IT. I love to learn about ancient civilizations and cultures, and it exists sometimes an amount of uncanniness in the misterious artefacts we don't fully understand, and this game translates that feeling perfectly to this game.

Idea, narrative, inspirations and design perfectly combined. I clasify this game as a little gem.

I am wondering what ideas you might have to the future! I wish you great success!!! And thanks for this experience

After navigating the comments I found the wall jump trick: it is naturally hard due to the gameplay style, but the problem is that it is not conveniently explained in-game, specially for new players. A lot of people who has never played Celeste before (myself included) found attractive a N64 inspired game from an outstanding indie title, so a simple tutorial may be good.

Even tho, for an early release of the game it is technically completed, I haven't found bugs at all.

I don't know if it is for N64 inspiration,  but for those who have never played Celeste before, they don't know the controllers. I somehow managed to pass the first wall, but honestly I have no idea how I did it. It needs a simple explanation for controllers, or a tutorial.

Also, it would be good to add Control customization (But anyway, thanks for changing jump for X and Y for speed boost in the Pro Controller). The Pause menu options don't respond persistently or they don't work at all with the Controller.

I can't save the game with the Pro Controller, but it is posible with "C" key on "Save & Quit".

But, despite that, I think it is a beautiful game with great mechanics and nostalgic style. I love the music, but this playfully music in the Cassette areas can become annoying after dying too many times (but I like it, I guess it is obnoxious in the hardest or non-rithmic levels), but I think that is more like a personal opinion.

I will add for developers, I download the version "Celeste64-1.1.1-win-x64" But overall, the design is cute and it is a joyfull experience
