Had a hot mess when changing servers, so this is a overhaul. itch seems to have several places for the same project check out my devlog for the new look and more changes. this one has a manual 2FA. Its nice, works for what I want it to. Hopefully others find it useful as well

VERSION 9:
Massive changes. Created a "config.php" file where you now can edit various parts of the code. It is small but it opens the door for future upgrades without having to edit several files.
Also changed this to a darker theme. If you like the ligher theme, let me know and I will put it as a separate file.
Hi all!
Regarding 2FA: There's no separate app for 2FA. When you activate it, you'll receive several backup codes. It's crucial to save these codes somewhere you can always access. A secure note-taking app like Google Keep could be a good option for this.
About server security: Changing the default port (80 or 8080) to a custom one is an excellent practice. This makes your Password Manager less discoverable online, which is a significant security boost. It's surprising that many other self-hosted Password Manager guides don't mention this powerful tip.
Most important warning: There's no backdoor to recover 2FA keys. If you forget or lose them, you'll lose access to your passwords. These keys are encrypted for additional security.
Remember, this is YOUR Password Manager. The more steps you take to secure it, the better protected your sensitive information will be. Always prioritize the safe storage of your backup codes and 2FA keys.
NOTE:
Future updates will be done at Sourceforge: Check out my files here
no no no, your fine. feel free to post it here. I have several projects on the burner (don't we all LOL). The only reason i picked the void, is because the prtagonist in the game is literally wiping out the universe into nothing, or a void. LOL But I am open to new names too haha.
My other project is a interactive fiction thriller - I would say horror, but the story line is not really that scarry, but it is weird. custom engine as well.
Thanks for the post!!
OK, finally got the classes up and working (not tested). also added sexes as they will play a role later on. All that is left is the end game. Later I will add some of the other features, like an Inn for more buffs. Still working on the idea of adding multi-player, but it s NOT on my list of things to do at this time.
Alrighty, will be uploading a (almost) playable version. This release is the actual game play from the days of old., I do not have the auto/idle portion added yet. That is next. There are some other added features that are not in the original either. Perma death is one, some exploits of the original are now met with servere punishment LOL
Also, this version is written completely from scratch, and in QB64, NOT PASCAL as the original. So all functions, formulas and routines are written form scratch as well, and from memory. So they may or may not be as the original.
Enjoy
More screens coming.

If you are old enough, this will bring a smile of recognition to your face!! I wanted to make an idler game for a long time (not a clicker), and game like trimps, civclicker and kitten are much larger than I wanted to bite my teeth on for a first try. However this game, I am very familiar with .
classic re-imagined into a idle game. I have this posted elsewhere, so I am moving it here. Currently a WIP, but playble. The basic version works, although there is a few bugs I am working on before I release it. I have plans for a much larger scale and interactive.
The following are older images, but should give you a feel of where I am gong :-)
If you've played LORD, you will know what I am talking about. I have written several prototypes of LORD in PHP/SQL but cannot release it, then a few years ago, I got addicted - ofc - to idle games (not clickers) - and recently got an idea to return back to my source, and make an IDLE LORD!
I did PHP/JS/ style, but wanted more of the old original feel - so started on an exe version. As of this writing it is functional and works. I am currently working on the cosmetics of it, loading and saving games and much more.
Am intersted on you guys opinions.
If you are not FAMILIAR with the game, so some research. Mainly duck "NUKLEAR LORD" You can play it in your browser there.
Here are some screens to wet your appetite!
Lemme know what you think. Currently am waiting for the Publishers response to use original material, or if I have to change ALL the name.
EDIT:
The more I work on this, the more I realize, that I just made a re-imagined game from the BBS world that DOES NOT need a BBs to play on. When version 1.0 official is released, I will do my best to see if I can make this multiplayer. No guarantees.
Alright, back in biz. (pun intended), Missile control had a loop issue that I changed elsewhere. Thats fixed. Damage control now works - as seen in image, but not a nice situation ofc. Damage does repair, but only by navigating. But this is a catch 22, if NAV is not working, they wont repair. So need to find a happy medium :=)
This fix is v6 (180619.2345)
well crud, just found out minutes later that the damage control was not working because of one variable Uhg!! so fixed that, but while testing, I also found out my missile control is not working, which it was yesterday... LOL, this is what happens when you scratch build apps and not use engines LOL..
ok.. I'll have the fix up shortly..
OK!! Played hooky from work to do some clean up coding. Thanks to the testers and their feed back I was able to update a few things.
REL: 180619.2241
- fixed exit on getting course 0=NO COURSE SELECTED. People were having problem changing their mind deciding NOT to move or use a torpedo. Now you can just enter 0, and it will cancel back to the option menu
- got rid of extra pause at the title - cosmetic - but annoying...
- enemy fighting back works now - they only fight when you move - they still do not move or attack their turn.
- HQ command updated, but not tested. docking was not working. Need someone to get close and see if that works
- Turned off the "case-sensitive" when entering code due to critical damage
- improved the repair while moving of sub damage. this is not perfected yet (if navigation is damage, start over LOL - I'll get that fixed)
check it out :-)
Its a fun past time, although may be hard to quit :P
Hi, I though this would a great place to help those who have started testing my game to post suggestions and other issues as well as me posting what the heck is going on LOL
This is an old 1970's text game that I gave(and am giving) a modern twist to it. It is scratch built from a blank canvas! Much to my surprise, seeing that it is a TEXT game and not eye-candy, it has been well received - thank you for those that are checking it out.
The game is almost done, cept cosmetic and some coding clean up as well as some bug squashing, however the main reason I am noting it here is I just found out my enemies do not fire back LOL and that is because that whole section is missing !!!!!
So i need to add that, and will update with that version , will probably add a manual seed generator so you can set your own procedural game, not sure, given the language I am writing it is, that the seed will generate throughout various players.
So I dropped it back down to 80% as I have to get the combat section done LOL....
If you are a fan of DOS text games, or grew up in that area - or just curious, keep watch... I have plans to make modern day game mechanics to a DOS TEXT style. Sort of a MASH if you will!!
Cheers

I love writing DOS games, and thought I would finish a few here and see if any old timers remember any of them(days before windows, mice and monitors). I rarely finish a game, but with itch.io, I have a reason now. If you like the old school DOS games from the 70's take a look at this one. I want to modernize it a little while keeping it nostalgic.
EDIT: forgot to link the game page :-
