Can't wait to finish the Drowning Machine someday once I have the craft and mental fortitude to remake it from scratch the way I originally pictured it :')

I can’t help but spend a good amount of my development time just kind of looking at the parts of the set that I’m proud of and coming up with the words from there based on how the place I just built makes me feel. big part of why I’m struggling with Reverie right now. I’m gonna strip a bunch of it back and release it soon tho, just need to figure out a few things
thank you so much for playing!! Here’s a link to the demo for the full release if you’d like! https://rabbitrungames.itch.io/thedrowningmachine

hey there! Thank you so much for playing I’m glad the game meant something to you, and I appreciate the compliments!
To clarify, the game is being released episodically, I’m currently around a quarter of the way through Movement I: Reverie. There’s going to be two movements released after that as well, once they’re good and ready ;)
I’ll be pushing regular updates to the game so I would definitely recommend following my Twitter to keep up with development!
I’m so glad to hear you appreciated it, it absolutely fuels me to know that this game means something to so many kind folks :)
Howdy folks! Aidan here.
I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you to those who play The Drowning Machine. The game is very personal to me, and the ability to use such an incredible platform to get Charlie's message out there is an opportunity I could never have dreamed of.
I want to share the stories of all you lovely folks who have been through something similar. If you care to have your story heard, or even included in the full release of the game, I invite you to follow this link. The Drowning Machine is a vector to tell the stories of all who have experienced loss, and I would love to have the chance to share yours as well.
Thank you for playing, I'm glad you're still around :)
I'm glad the game meant something to you both. While ordinarily I try to keep things like this private, I know for certain that Charlie knew that this story would help someone out there. Honestly if this game is able to help even one person understand what it would be like to lose them, and show them that it's worth it to keep going, it'll be worth it for both of us. I appreciate any help spreading his message. I appreciated your respect of the source material in the video.
Everyone experiences trauma differently, everyone experiences grief differently.
The Drowning Machine is a chance at closure for both me and him, and I'm just glad that the message has gotten out.
Thank you both for playing
