Please note that the game is much smoother on standalone executable download rather than web version, however, you cannot play in custom MONA worlds in the executable version due to mona SDK restriction.

Also note that TempleTussle, BazaarBash, and CemeteryClash gameplay quality (performance) is low in webGL and thus currently disabled.

Also note that on custom MONA world loading, it may take a few seconds for the world to populate. (You may see blank screen for ~30 seconds)

WOOPS HAHAH THANKS SO MUCH FOR PLAYING MY GAME!! IT MEANS A LOT!!

Hi man!!!! First of all, Congrats on your very first game :))
I have some feedback!!
 - The camera felt inverted - maybe you could play with that?
 - Maybe you can add a timer and a leaderboard
 - Maybe you can add some powerups
 - I liked the mussic but it started a little late
 - Maybe checkpoints and skinds for player
Overall a great game, I had fun playing it and congratss!!!

nice game!! Conrgats on your first game!

Hi King Action!!!
I had fun playing your game congrats on completing and submitting your game for the jam!

Be on the lookout for a video from 'RambaMamba' about this jam and your game!
I loved how the game was simple, and was a browser game! I only wish it was a little more challenging - maybe some player-seeking missiles? Maybe some more enemies and more things to dodge! Maybe even some power ups and even a shop or some music!!! This is a great start to a game, I hope you had fun and I had fun playing your game! Continue your dev process brudha!!

ps. what game engine is this? I loved the brower capability!!!

Hi Crashie!!!!
I finally got around to playing your game and let me just tell you it was a blast!! I haven't played any strategy games in a long time and boy oh boy when I found out you made a game for the jam that was about whiches and strategies and ghosts I hopped on as soon as I could! The first evident thing was your art skills. The cinematography was amazing! The cut-scenes were nice and informative, and the music behind them was also intriguing. I loved that part!!! You've got to teach me how you did that next time yours on discord LOL. Next, the strategy. You managed to incorporate the theme while being unique as well as providing a whole story behind it. The best part of the game was that you could only look in one direction. That was really good because then it made for some interesting plays. Sometimes I was wandering around trying to avoid the ghosts and then desperately flipping the ghost to the skin to try to find the door to the next level! I only wish that it had a few more levels since I had so much fun playing it. This game was super fun to play, and with a little polish you could even sell it on steam! Maybe, In the future, you could make it a bit harder since we all love a game that makes you rage right xD? Also, maybe you could add some powerups, like a lightning zap that destroys all the enemies near you. Maybe you get some coins, and from a shop, you could buy a sword! Or what if, the which starts throwing potions at you on the final level? Crashie, I had so much fun playing this game and I hope you continue developing it in the future as well as maybe putting it up on steam!
Awesome job, be on the lookout for a RambaMamba video in the future featuring your game!

Hi Joshua!! Congrats on making an amazing game in 3 days!! This game was super fun for me to play and review.... reminded me of the old days when i used to play hack and slash games on school computers in math class with my friends while the teacher was teaching!! You should make this a commercial game Joshua, the animations where on point, I loved the lever mechanic and I honestly can't believe you made this in just 3 days. The game is so well rounded and complete! I only wish it had more levels as I finished them pretty quickly. Expanding this in the future you could add more mechanics like the lever, sliding and crouching, and a level editor! I would love that you have to kill all the enemy's before the illuminated cube lights up and you can move on to the next level.  Maybe add a leader-board for times and make this a speed run game? I found myself personally trying many times to run and slash through the enemy's as fast as I could. Honestly, this game is extremely well rounded so congrats on your game and keep on developing!! ps. you could add bows and a shop xD. This game has a lot of potential Joshua, I loved it. Let me know about any updated you do and also be on a lookout for a video by me about this game, I loved it!! :)

EPIC GAME MY DUDE
YOU WILL BE #1 GAME DEV IN FUTURE

REMEMBER TO NAE NAE EVERYONE

https://rambamamba.itch.io/rustys-diner

Thank you

I really like this game because how you managed to make it in 3 days and how you took the twist of both themes! Great job and impressive for a jam. Good Luck!

Some feedback (constructive):

I think that after a while (at least for me) the audio started to get really repetitive. This means that the music was going over and over and the SFX were the same. Maybe, instead of a pew, pew, pew, pew, you could add a pitch randomizer and it would be like PEW,pew,pEW,pew,pEW. That would definitely make the game much more interesting and less repetitive.

I think that this game could be really cool as a multiplayer game. I also think that it would cool if the enemy's could shoot at you back because I found that the only way to die (for me, an epic gamer who's in milk gang) was if I shot myself.

I really like that this game has a high-score, but I think that implementing a public high score would add some competitiveness to this game.

Great game, I really can't give much feedback, its a really solid game. Congratulations and good luck!!!

I really like this game because how unique and how you took the twist of the theme! Great job and impressive for a jam. Good Luck!

Some feedback (constructive):

Right now, we can see that your game is great. That's not the problem. Its just that people are not playing it because it is at the bottom at the list. So comparing your games image to others, we can see a big deference her. Many games that at the top have colorful images that display the games uniqueness and pulls you in as well as many games having custom cover art. I think that taking the time to make a custom cover art in a studio such as piskel would raise you very much. Try to make a colorful, vivid image that describes and encapsulates the main idea of your game.

Another thing to note to make you game more popular would be to lighten up the colors. Your game has great game play, but it is accompanied with dull colors. This describes a garden well, however maybe you could encouragement pink for flowers or yellow for daises in the garden instead of just brown, dark green and grey.

I really like how you made the shop incorporated with the game and how you stop to do the shop. I think that you maybe could expand on this as I was wishing their was more in the shop. This could be the main seller point of your game.

Another thing to note is that as Acropolise said, I wish their were shooting FX for sure.

I think that maybe you could incorporate the instructions on how to play a little more clear, as in making it a tutorial scene. This would make the game more user friendly and at the end more fun.

I noted that when I was playing I was able to go off the screen in the top. Little bug, probably can be fixed in a jiffy.

Also, I found it almost impossible to actually get the minerals, because I would always break it open but not hit it again to harvest the gold lump inside of it. However, after a while, I started to memorize the map and was able to move around with ease. I think that to make this game TRULY endless you should make it so that it is a randomly generated map with constraints to not make it impossible.

Thank you for reading my feedback. Once again, great game and impressive for a jam. Keep me posted on updates! Good Luck!!!

Thank you! Yeah, I am trying to make my game easier to understand.

Thank you so much! I really appreciate it and yes, I will continue developing it and also I'll make it a download once the jam is over. The purpose of the webGL was so more people played it in the jam. Thank you once again!!!

This is a great game and especially extraordinary for a game jam. Really impressive, good job and good luck!!!

Some feedback:

I love how you can't move, that makes this game unique as well as the color scheme and the vibrancy.

As with almost any game I have played in this jam, I would love to see this game implementing a local and a global leader board. Right now the game isn't very competitive and I think that with a leader board people would try to compete to get their names on their!

Another thing I was thinking about was how FreezDev was looking for your game. Freeze forgot the name of your game and I think this was largely due to the fact that your game doesn't have a cover image. A cover image would make the game easy to find and be memorable.

Another small thing that you can do is fix the clamps on the camera. right now you are able to look through your body and its kinda weird. Maybe you can just lessen the angle at which you can look through.

I understand that you are trying to make this game hard from not giving clues when people sneak up on you, but after a while it got annoying. Maybe, almost right before the enemy is behind you or something play a tone like tun tun or something. I think it will keep the intergerty of the game and hardly change anything because it would be really hard to react to it anyways while still alerting the user. Maybe this could be 3d sound and you could tell where it is coming from?

I also think that when you die and the starting UI is a bit clunky. Not to say that each individual part looks great, but I think that it should be lessened a bit. Another thing to note is that it looks GREAT IN FULL SCREEN MODE. I think the easiest solution to this is to probably make is so that it is scaled based on the size of the screen. Their is a way to do this, I think its something like "Maintain Aspect Ratio"

Down below you can see how the game over doesn't fit (that can be fixed real quick) and everything looks overall clunky. I think one thing you can do is remove the cross heir (or whatever that circle dot in the middle is) when you die as well as fixing the Game Over and reducing the size of the restart and main menu buttons.

Overall GREAT GAME. Probably my favorite game! Once again, great job and good luck!!!

oooooh, I’ll check it out again!

This game is AWESOME!!! Good luck with the jam and congratulations!

Some feedback (constructive):

When I was playing, sometimes I didn't know that I just lost a live. I think that you could add some haptic feedback when you loose a life, maybe  a SFX, maybe a camera rumble, something to let the player know that they have just lost a life. I love that when you die you explode. That's the feedback I'm talking about.

I really like the music and the simplicity in this game, it really gives a nice feel and polished touch to the game.

I also like how it shows your high score, some games not doing that. However, I think that you could add a little competitiveness to the game by adding a public high score. This way people are trying to beat a score, trying to get their name out their. I don't know if this would be hard, but it would be a great addition.

I've also just had a thought... what about this in multiplayer ?!?!??!? It would be AWESOME in MULTIPLAYER!!!

Honestly, almost a perfect game (Ive said this for 2 games already this jam is with great games). Everything ties together nicely and I can't even give much feedback. I'll play it some more and give more feedback as I think of some though. Great Job!!!

I really like this game!!! First of all congratulations on completing the jam and good luck!

Some feedback: (constructive xD)

I really like the SFX and the game play mechanics By this I mean the turning block, getting the white dot, etc.

This game really needs some music, however. I feel like with some music, I could really understand the heart of this game. Right now, I can't tell what this is making me feel, whats the goal?

I also love the learning curve to this game and how it takes you a couple of tries to figure out ho to turn, etc. That exploration part of the game was gold for me. The part that I was starting to get annoyed at was how difficult it quickly became. A way to combat this is to

A.) make it a bit easier please ;)

B.) make the score numbers move faster. This makes the player feel like that their cruising along having more fun (i guess?)

Speaking of score, I've told almost everyone making a game that is endless that they should add a public high score. That way, it adds a bit of competitiveness to the game. I want to compete with someone; I want my name to be at the top of the leader-board right?

This game was actually almost perfect in all categories, can't even give much feedback on it. Great game and good luck in the jam!!!

ps. keep me posted on updates please :)

I already gave you my feedback in the discord, however Ill put it here as well that way you can reference it again (and I added some parts)

This game is great! I especially love how you can play it on phone even while it is a webGl game! Great job and good luck in the jam!!!

Some feedback:

I think that this game could have  a little more ooomph to the game with some music. Some cool skater music would do the trick. Maybe you could use soundtrap to make the music since this is a only-our-assets game jam.

Going along with that, to add some personality and feel to the game, I think that you should also add a main menu as well as a cut-seen explaining the role of the skateboarder. I would love to see a scene before the game where it shows like cops following you or something and the character says "I need to go NOW" then the skateboarding game scene starts. Another thing you could do to add some feel to the game is to customize this game page. You can do this by going to edit theme (top middle) and changing colors, banners and adding screenshots. This makes each game feel unique.

I know I gave almost identical feedback to someone else too, however I think you should add a public leader-board as well as a personal leader-board so that people can see their high scores. This would add a little competitiveness to the game.

Once again, this feedback is supposed to be constructive! This game is great and I would love to see the changes it undergoes in the development process. Overall, great game and especially impressive to be done in a jam!

No problem!!! This game has lots of potential and I love to play other people games and give feedback. Good job!

This is a great game!

some feedback:

I love the music, animations and game mechanics!

When I died, I didn't know I died and also would like to see a high score and a death scene with a retry button. However, I noticed that their WAS in fact a death scene, so I think I may have found a bug. I noticed it only when I clicked on options or another part of the menu before hand. Similarly, when clicking on options or credits before opening the game once the game never loaded.

Also 9sven6 mentioned feedback upon hits. Here is a link to camera shake tutorial if you want it. It was definitely missing feedback and I was constantly not knowing that I was about to die.

I would also like to see a border around the game, so I don't get mixed up with the background and the game.

I think the menu scene could use a clean-up and a wee-bit fancier.

This might be and probably will be really hard but I think if you implement it it will make the game more competitive. Maybe you should add a public leader board as this is the type of the game that you are expected to die at.

Another thing that would be pretty cool is a cut seen at the beginning giving some back story to this game. Maybe (idk i'm just imagining) "Welcome fighter. You are the last one alive. It is your duty to protect the land of Ryuzaki!" in a robot voice. You could use - https://lingojam.com/RobotVoiceGenerator

Overall great game and impressive for a jam! Keep it up and keep me posted on updates. Good Job!

Thank you so much for you feedback! I will defo try to make it unique. Once again, thank you!!!

thanks! I’m working on it for a jam!
