I really like the classic NES feel this game has. From the sprites to the music and the simple gameplay loop, you could put this game on an NES rom and I would think this was a hidden gem for the console that no one has discovered yet.

The only thing though is that when I die from the enemies and arrows, for some reason the wave just keeps going and I proceed to the next wave even though I should've lost. But overall, I think you did a pretty good job with this!

That's odd, I admittedly haven't encountered this before. Did the browser mention a specific error? Or did it tell you what scripts are being blocked? If ever it still doesn't work, you can also try the software download

For the clicking, which part are you referring to? Also thanks for trying out the game!

Oh I might've missed that. Will try the game again sometime if I get the chance.

The concept is simple but I think it was executed well. I like the background music as it juxtaposes well with what is happening in the game, and the tutorial was done well. I think though the jump height could be increased a bit more since it is quite difficult to jump over the fences as it requires really precise places to jump from. But overall, this was executed well and is a solid game.

First things first, the music is actually really good. The lofi track at the beginning is really chill and groovy, and the gameplay music is quite energetic fitting the theme of the game. I also enjoyed the gameplay as it does keep me on my toes, but I do think the spike moves really fast especially at the start of the game. Maybe you can make the spike move slower at the start to help players ease in to the game before you start challenging them even more.

Overall though, I really enjoyed the game and I do hope I can check out more of the music sometime!

The concept for this is quite cool and I think it was executed well. The graphics and music fit well with the setting, and I also did feel the urgency and rush of having to figure out where to go next and make decisions per planet. The only thing though is that maybe at the start there could be more indicators on what the controls are because I was initially confused with what to do, but I eventually figured it out.

In general, good job!

Thanks for playing! And I do hope your hands get some rest haha

The game is quite simple but executed well. The graphics look quite polished and the music is nice too, it fits.

I think one thing that might help in the future is to fix the resolution. At least on my end the game looks too big in fullscreen, and for a game like this I think it might benefit from a smaller window size so that I can better see everything in the game.

Overall though, this was solid!

What stands out to me first is the audio. I really like how impactful and relevant it is to the setting you made for the game, it adds to the setting well. The game is also quite simple and fun, and the movement overall was quite satisfying. At most I think it might help to make the healthbar more visible, but I think I was still able to get a good feel of the gameplay regardless.

Overall solid work!

Do take breaks and don't overexert haha... But I still hope you enjoyed the game!

Glad you enjoyed! Feel free to drop a rating if you want as well

Right off the bat I think the graphics are pretty neat and the music is really energizing! The music especially fits the setting of the game, which is that it is a high intensity situation.

As for the gameplay, while I like the concept and I appreciate the tutorial at the start, I do think the controls could be made clearer. What I understand is that maybe I am supposed to help the others get the parachute, but I don't know how unless I missed something. I think maybe an additional tip in the tutorial on how to give parachutes to the others or at least an illustration on what should be happening would help.

Overall though, I think the game has a really nice vibe to it!

Honestly, this game is really chaotic and I really like it for that. The gimmick of moving faster as you move more makes things feel really intense and fun. I also like the attack the player has: it's unique but at the same time can seem quite powerful knowing they can hurt so many enemies with just one barrier.

I think what would make this game even better is to give more indication that you are damaging enemies and by how much. Maybe you can make the enemies take knockback damage and have a pop-up above them showing how much damage you dealt. It helps make your attacks feel more impactful and makes players feel as if they are in fact dealing damage.

Overall, this was a chaotic but fun game to play. Now if only I had the skill to reach 90 seconds haha...

I dig the aesthetics of this a lot. I'm a huge fan of the 90s VHS synthwave vibe in general and I think the game captures it quite well, with the audio being a good complement.

As for the gameplay, I like the grapple mechanic and shooting does feel good. The main issue I have is with progression, as I think maybe the game could have more of an indication as to whether or not I am successful at each platform. Like for example, you can tell the player that they have completely taken down the targets here and they can move to the next part, which helps give the player a better idea of where to go next and that they are doing a good job.

Overall though, this was quite fun to play, and the vibes are cool 💯

Wow, the graphics on this are amazing! I think it really gives off a fantasy world kind of vibe which fits the game, and at the same time it is also really cozy.

The game itself is also really cozy and laidback as well, which is a nice change of pace compared to what I normally play. The only thing I would say in feedback here is that maybe there could be more mechanics to shake things up and make the game even more fun.

I also dig the audio, most especially the music on this. I think the sound effect for walking though has a little bit of peaking and crackling on it which can be a bit distracting, but overall the sounds complement the vibe of the game.

Overall, if you were going for a cozy and calm experience, I think you all did a great job!

This game gives off a really cozy feel with the graphics and the mechanics, and I like it quite a bit. I think what might help is to provide more onscreen feedback and indicators for what is going on. Like for example, you can show how much distance the player still has to go in order to reach the exit or if the player for example hits something they aren't supposed to the game can let them know on the screen. Stuff like this usually helps the player and makes them feel rewarded especially if they know they are getting closer to the goal.

I also think it might help to add some music to add to the feel of the game like some lofi instrumental maybe, but this is more of my own personal preference than anything. But overall, this game was pretty neat and I think you did a good job.

I'm glad you caught the nostalgic computer aesthetics haha, I'm a huge fan of these 70s-80s aesthetics. Thanks for the feedback!

Appreciate the thoughts, thanks!

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed the game 💯
