Thanks! didn’t see that misspell at all. I will fix that as soon as possible. I like to explore new game ideas. Glad that you liked it.

Lovely game! It was so much fun even though you followed a tutorial. The levels were amazing and you have a great talent for level design. The only thing I can point out that’s bad is that the game has no you in it. It’s super fun and stuff but the only thing you added that was you was the level design and the moving platforms. The transitions was awsome though. I couldn’t notice any stutring. You page looks pretty sketchy. I think that’s why there is no comments here. I suggest making a HTML version. I also suggest that you do something about the downloading exe. The computer warns you about a virus and if it weren’t for your habitica post I would never play it. Sad such a great game don’t get played only for the sketchy DOWNLOAD
The idea is so great!
The game could use sounds, there is currently one sound and that when they see you.
Another point is that the controls is a little bit hard to control. Maybe make it so you move left between the lanes if you press d and not w and d.
The game art is awesome! Even though everything is almost made out of cubes the texture make them look so good.
I have a game jam and the theme is your the monster, hope you don’t mind if I borrow your idea?
I Thought that Godot has an itch.io account and thought my game was cool ahah. Thanks btw. Doing a much bigger update now check the devlogs at: https://youtu.be/gm6ycfROvHI

btw when you die there is no way to play again.
This game was really good. I didn’t know this was your first game at all. It was made so fast to wow. Here is some feedback I wished people told me for my first game.

The text in the browser doesn’t look that good at all. I don’t know why but it was just random pixels. But it doesn’t look bad at all in the screenshot. I think I can help you with that. hit me up.

The camera is too slow. Maybe you did it by choice but sometimes you just can’t see the player. Also, it was annoying to jump down because you didn’t were you jumped.
-
your game is kind of big so when you die and has to start from the start it is really annoying.

Didn’t know the controls and tried to walk with arrow keys. Easily fixed by adding the arrow keys to the input map.
-
The mouse is never used in the game, so it shouldn’t be visible at all. You should at least make it usable in the menu.

The game could use some SFX because the only sound is the music. It is easy but you just have to remember it. It adds a lot to a game.
Your art looks amazing though and I love the particles. I also loved the street lights. It could use some shadows too but that’s an artistic choice you have to do yourself. The music is amazing and fits the game world so well. Can’t wait for your next games if this is your first.
I am using Godot engine too and if your planning to update the game I can help you out. Just hit me up if you need anything.
The game art is amazing. Did you make all that by your self? The game is pretty hard, I know you probably find it fun because it challenges you but to someone who never played it before it’s pretty hard. Still I think if you tweak some stuff this could be a really fun game.
edit my record was 17 waves
This is really good for your first game! I think your first game is much better than mine: https://red-cube-gamedev.itch.io/my-first-game
The only minor change I wouldv’e done is try to make it harder the longer you stay. So it becomes hard for the player to survive longer.
The art does look great and the music is even better.
There is also another change I wouldv’e done. The player don’t know what the controls are and have to kind of gues. It’s an easy fix really just right down the controls in the description of the game.
That’s what I was thinking too! Adding more blocks and making this a small and fun mobile game. Thanks so much for playing the game and making a video about it. It means a lot and gives a lot of feedback, just seeing you play and think already gave me a lot of ideas that would help the game grow! Thanks
