I don't know, I can't remember what the original didn't have! But there's that mysterious crack, which I'm guessing needs that second-to-last upgrade to interact with.

Wow, I remember this from back in the day! Still fun now...though I've yet to find the second-to-last upgrade, or figure out how to look behind the wall.

"Error: Couldn't load project path "." Is the .pck file missing? If you've renamed the executable , the associated .pck file should also be renamed to match the executable's name (without the extension)"

I get this error when I try to load the game.

It doesn't seem to end properly. After the boss there's one more level, but after collecting the coins and defeating the enemy, nothing happens.

Otherwise, it runs smoothly! Easy for the most part, but it controls well and is really good work for a first game.

I'm with Darkvoid. What makes a character highlight yellow? I've tried clicking around, I've tried waiting, hitting keys...nothing.

The game was fun and controlled pretty well (though I would have liked having up/w available for jumping), but that music was FANTASTIC.

Was this game ever completed? The demo is fantastic.

I thought a few sections were harder than needed (you exit walls really fast, making some wall jumps a pain), but this was really fun! Great work.

I can't tell if I did something wrong. I got reincarnated, and as soon as I reached the screen with the cars again, I got the end of demo message. Is there more to it? It's nice visually and has a good concept, but it doesn't seem like there is any, well, game to play.

Simple, but fun! I look forward to seeing this expanded with more upgrades and puzzles.

I was worried about  the lack of map at first, but I realized that usually paths became limited by your size, or you could see rooms clearly that were opened with your new ability, making it pretty linear and easy to follow. Very good job!

Game over screen, where load changes to quit (so there are two quit options). I went to the same fight and lost twice, so I tested both buttons, and both went to a black screen.

Fun up to the first boss, but when I died I could only reset the page as I was stuck on a black screen, and I don't want to sit through the long cutscenes again. If you could use space to auto-complete dialogue so you could mash through cutscenes it would make a big difference.

Any updates for us?

The instructions say J to throw. It's actually K.

Also, I disappeared in a screen transition and am totally locked. Can't move, nothing. Had to quit.

Please post-jam this. Great concept, I loved the mild puzzle-ness of targeting particular enemies for the right powerup before they could be harnessed at once. Also, did I just miss the computer message saying that the ball could be super-jumped out of? I found that by accident.

Solid lore, and I could totally see this being expanded with more powerups and enemy types.
