Thank you for all this awesome Feedback! I really appreciate it and will definitely be working on the points mentioned in here.

For what it's worth the secret in Level 1 is the Dragonball on the far right hand side of the map which can be reached by following the top route all the way to the right where there will be invisible tiles that become visible upon collision. Push it into the water to activate the Easter Egg,

Level 2 requires 2 coins which can be found inside the boxes if you collide with them (Like Mario) - 3 Coins unlocks a pipe on the top right hand side of the map which takes you to a secret level,

Level 3 just requires you to activate 3 torches and the  make your way to the far right hand side of the map to finish it.

I'll try and make it more clear like you mentioned.

I'll also make everything else a little more user friendly :)

Thanks again!

Hi guys,

If you have a few minutes spare, could you please speed run through https://reinhardtweyers.itch.io/peter-peel

I'd like to have other people play it and give me general feedback on what they like and dislike. Being a dev it's easy to fall in a comfort zone of what works for YOU, but in reality most folks might not enjoy what you think is fun or intuitive.

Any and all feedback would be greatly appreciated! :)

All the best!

Welcome to Peel Island!

https://reinhardtweyers.itch.io/peter-peel

I have never touched a piece of code in my life and always looked at it like something that only scientists use. However during this Lockdown with the Pandemic, I started really feeling depressed. I was struggling mentally living in a small, one bedroom apartment with no family or pets within a 300 mile radius.  I really wanted to express how I felt, and that's when the idea came up. Game Development.

"But I'm not nearly good enough to be able to do that" - The thoughts crawled up.  So I started small, made a simple, but polished game. It was a simple ball bouncing up on little bricks sorta game. Slowly I learnt more and started learning pixel art and drawing sprites to increase my arsenal.

As the weeks went by, building and working on this project actually made me feel a lot better as I was able to output all the emotion stuck inside of my head. Having visited the doctor multiple times just to be given some strange drug to "Help" me feel better, I soon realised those pills do not help at all and just made me feel worse.

After 142 Hours (And counting) of hard work and late nights, I'm proud to finally launch my first ever game. It will come with it's flaws and people will hate aspects of it, which is fine. I encourage it, because the next instalment will be even better.  Thank you to everyone for supporting the game and for all your kind words.

All the best!

Peter Peel - A Puzzle Platformer Narrated by a Banana!

https://reinhardtweyers.itch.io/peter-peel

On the upper layers Peter Peel is a fun puzzle-platformer, with a much deeper, darker story being told as you're progressing. It's a short narrative that should take you about an hour to play through. There are hidden secrets on each level and they will reward you if you manage to find and activate them.

It's a completely free game so I encourage you to play it and leave some general feedback. It's my first game so would be greatly appreciated.

If you're stuck or have any questions, feel free to let me know :)

Exciting! Link me when it's up, I'd love to watch it :)

Thank you for the kind words :)
