I've got a working prototype of the game I'm making for this jam, and I feel like it's absolutely playable and "complete." However, I also wouldn't call it "done," as I have not yet added things such as a "running the game" section, etc. How does everyone else handle this without commissioning a layout for every draft of the game when you want to update it?

Does anybody have recommended games to look at for a general idea of how these kinds of things are structured? I've never played a game where the main mechanics are just writing, and was wondering if anybody had some recommendations for getting an idea of what I'm doing. I've got an idea for a theme, but the how and the why of structuring it as a GAME eludes me. (And yes, I know the jam isn't until November, I'd just like to play other games before I start working on mine)
Hi! I'm Rem, a trans lesbian from Florida, and I'll be honest, I'm still not 100% sure what it means for a product to be a DREAM versus just...content. Is it the themes? I found out about the Jam because I follow someone on Twitter who is participating, and I honestly just signed up to try and force myself to finally FINISH something. I've got about a dozen half baked ideas floating around for classes, subsystems, archetypes, etc., for so many of the games I love. I'm currently planning on submitting a PbtA system inspired by JRPG archetypes and stories, but if that doesn't pan out, I've got plenty of smaller things I can try to hash out in the last few days of the jam.
