A place to talk through ideas!

What a great jam - I love letter writing games!

Never made a letter writing game, but I'm excited! I've already got an idea. It seems good, but I've not enough experience with these types of games to know if it might have already been done.

I've got my concept and I'm excited to try it out!
My concept is this:  An Angel (or perhaps a Demon) is writing letters to the Agony column of teen girl magazine.

Beautiful jam! I really want to participate! ;) I have some ideas, but so far the one that most stimulates me is this:

Letters from the front are all the same. Somehow they try to reassure and keep the war away from home. The writers always tries to put a filter between what happens to them and the person who will receive the letter. But this is not always the case. All Quiet on the Western Front (working title) puts you in the shoes of soldiers at the front, struggling with a letter to write "despite everything". Can you keep the war away from the lines you write? Or will you stain the sheet with tears and blood?

great ideas!

i got a lot of ideas, i'll try to take the time to at least write one of them :)

Since I owe the idea for my game to this jam, it seems fair to me to share the link to the project now that it’s ready and public. I couldn’t send it in time for your jam, so I took the opportunity to continue writing. The game was presented at the Just the Two of Us Jam, but I wanted to thank you!
