Totally! I know Visustella's Furniture System plugin does it but of course their code is obfuscated so we'll never know exactly how. From a user standpoint, it has the option for furniture items to have "variations" either different colors or different rotations and those are handled through notetags. Other than that, I have no idea. Their plugin doesn't play well with my other plugins though.

Whether or not you find a way to implement it or not, this plugin does so much of what I needed including some things I didn't even know I needed! I always appreciate your creativity with your plugins (The pet summon one is fantastic as well).

This is such a cool plugin that I'm absolutely going to use! Any plans to add a feature to rotate furniture items? Would be cool for, if say, the player has a chair, they can choose which direction it faces before placing it.

Yeah sort of like that. I only need HP Bars for the boss and the player's followers. They all have predetermined spots they will be as well and they will just stand there firing projectiles at each other while the player wanders the map and solves the puzzles. I want the HP of the followers to be visible as well so the player knows how much health their followers have left. Here is an image of a test setup:


The elephant is the boss. The dog, kitsune, and woman are the player's followers. They move to the spots they're in now and fire projectiles at the boss while the boss fires their own projectiles at the followers. They don't move from there, only the player will. My current setup is the HP bar above the woman is just an event placed a tile above her that changes based on that actor's HP.  It works but is a bit messy to track the HP properly. I would love something more streamlined. I tried to use Visustella's Variable Gauges, but if I put it in a position, it moves with the screen so won't stay above an event.

Yes, sort of but a very simple one! So essentially, the player walks into a boss map. The player’s followers (3 max) will move to their spots and fire projectiles at the boss on the map slowly draining the HP of the boss and the boss will fire back at the player’s followers hurting them as well. During this time, the player is solving a puzzle on the map to break the shield of the boss so more damage can be done by the player’s followers. Neither the boss nor the followers move once they’re in position. 

The problem I had with Visustella’s Variable Gauge is that I couldn’t get it to stay above an event. It was locked to a screen position rather than a map position so it would scroll with screen when the player moved around on the map.

This looks great! Does it have the ability to keep the bar above an event in the case that I want HP Bars above enemies on the map? So if I have a moving event on my map, is it possible to make the bar stay above the enemy as they move?

Beautiful! It worked and I was able to open the chest with one of the actors. The only funny thing is that I can attack the chest for some reason and it shows up at top in the turn order haha which doesn't seem to disrupt the battle, but it just makes me think I did something wrong.


Quite possibly because I didn't do step 3 in your instructions because I got stuck there. I know how to set the event move route to custom but I wasn't sure what to set the movement to or how to make it happen every turn.

First, thank you so much for this plugin. I just purchased and it's beautifully done and I can tell you've put a tremendous amount of work into it.

One question, and it may be something I'm completely missing in the instructions, but is there a way to make it to where the player can interact with events on the map. For example, I plan on making the battle start when player enters a dungeon, but I want the player to have to balance out defeating enemies as well as opening chests, collecting items, and mining ore while in the middle of battle to add an extra strategic element. So the player would move to the space next to an event and can choose to open the chest, collect the item, or mine the ore that they're standing next to.

In another scenario I have in my head, I want there to be a boss locked behind a gate that will keep spawning enemies until the player collects all three keys scattered across the map.

Are these things possible?

This is amazing! I was just racking my brain recently about how I could implement swimming into my game and you come to the rescue! :D I extra love how you want to implement diving too which is something I wanted to do. Similar to how in Animal Crossing New Horizons the player can dive when they swim over a shadow and get a sea creature.

Amazing! Thank you! The first one worked, I just also had to delete the "Set Movement Route" too and that did the trick in addition to what you suggested!

The clearing the crops on season change worked, but only if I watered the crops. It didn't seem to change if I neglected the crops the day before the season change haha. I'll have to fiddle around with that a bit more to find out what I want to do. I think I've gained a little bit better of an idea of how the events work!

Hey, is there any way to make a crop re-harvestable? For example, blueberries to where you plant them, they go through all of their growth stages, then when they're harvested, they revert back one stage.

So if blueberries take 10 days to grow and there are 4 days between stage the last stage and the stage before it, could it be made to were the blueberries are picked, they revert back to the second-to-last stage, then can be harvested again in 4 more days?

Also, is there a way to make it so a crop turns into a dead crop once the season changes over?

Thanks so much! I think I screwed myself up because I'm using Irina's tool ring plugin because I'll likely have a lot of tools the player will switch between so I'm using your tool UI solely for seeds. The tool ring plugin doesn't set any kind of switch or variable when the player equips a tool so I guess I need to find another method or ditch the tool ring all together. XD

Anyway, thanks so much for your plugins, they've been so helpful overall in making my game!

These modern parts in these updates are everything I need! Love these updates so much.

Are we allowed to use your sample maps in our game for commercial use? I've bought quite a few of your sets and some of your sample maps are almost perfect. I'd just need to make a few changes to make them fit my game, but I didn't want to use them as they are in my own game without permission.

Love it! I can already tell there's a ton of love and effort put into this generator.  Most I've seen on here have great bones but have mostly been abandoned. The fact that there are countless animations, consistent updates, and so many adaptability options is HUGE and deserves recognition.  l'll purchase on principle because I have confidence that as more parts are added, it'll eventually have everything I need!

I'm in the market for a character generator, and the fact that this one is being consistently and regularly updated makes this seem like the most worth it one for me. Looking forward to seeing what's to come! Love the modern parts being added! That's HUGE for me as my game is taking place in modern times.

How difficult would this be to implement a tool that can un-till the ground after tilling it in case one makes a mistake and accidentally tills the wrong spot?

Your tilesets are my favorite! And so much variety! If you have a requests sections, I'm looking all over for a pack of modern buildings like brick or siding with plenty of color options for a small modern town (I'm making a game influenced by Stardew Valley and Harvest Moon).  A movie theater and a museum with an aquarium are also on my lists, but my game is just starting development and your tilesets have 90% of everything I need. You do phenomenal work!

These are awesome! Are they free for commercial use?
