Yeah I totally agree. I never actually balanced out the score spending - I only got the core mechanics implemented in the time I had, and I wanted to upload something instead of throw in the towel. So I slapped in some ✨juice✨ and submitted it! :D
I’ll see what I can do in later versions to fix this! Might give the purple Elites a slightly more interesting attack pattern, and maybe make the later Boss enemies appear earlier on :>
Thanks for the critique! I agree with everything you’re saying honestly - I didn’t have time to further balance the game and I only made the base mechanics just in time. I plan on developing it more in the coming weeks!

Yeah, I did make the collision circle on the player too large! I was also thinking of adding a dash or a temporary shield mechanic to help with later waves, but I didn’t have time :((
Perhaps I can make it so there's a vertical grid but not a horizontal grid. This way it still snaps to the floor but doesn't jump around while moving. Does this sound better?
