The idea is the following, if you can't destroy the targets in time or you are overwhelmed with targets, in that case, you can reduce the damage taken from them by shrinking them.

Nice looking game, however, the player sprite gets stuck in the last animation until you make another action.
for example:
after jumping or moving, the animation will remain the same until you make another action (the moving animation will keep playing after the player stops).
and it would be better if you flip the sprite when moving to the left.
