I had a good time, excellent use of the limit and I liked that you used multiple types of translation. Music was a bit too quiet, and I was a bit confused in the first part as the different size of pixel symbols created sightly different looking symbols for the same letter.

The first beta release of my solo project is finally here. In A Dance for the Dreaming Dead you stand as the lone light facing an onslaught from the darkness. Choose to either cast your available spells to fight off the hordes or use them to augment your current spells to builds waves of destruction. From flaming vortexes to detonating fairies, use what your have to create unique builds for survival.

This is a small solo project with a goal of being as small and re-playable as possible. The primary game-play loop centers around the spell system. In this system any upgrade you pickup can be used directly as method of attack or as an upgrade to augment another spell. There's a nearly endless number of builds that can be used against the ridiculous number of enemies hounding you. From flaming sword slashes, to multiplying chains of lightning, to exploding fairies try anything and everything to survive.

This is a project I started to build a portfolio in hopes of eventually quitting my job and being a full time game-play programmer. With this demo I'm hoping to receive as much feed back as possible to created the most enjoyable game as I can. Come play it in browser or through download and if possible leave some feedback on the itch page.
