This is currently a volunteer position for an exciting video game development project. While this role is unpaid, we are actively working toward securing a publishing deal. Should a publishing deal be secured, all contributors will be compensated based on their contributions to the project

This holds true for many fields, including programming, yet requests for free programming assistance persist. :) Indeed, with more than twelve years of experience in video game development, I'm undertaking this as an unpaid side project. Posts seeking voluntary help often go unanswered, as it's uncommon to find someone willing to work merely for the 'promise' of future payment. However, it's not beyond the realm of possibility. 

With that in mind, I'm open to anyone who is eager and wishes to learn.
