Interesting proposition. I will consider this when I recheck the codes for the Chapter 3 event. For now, the Guide will suffice during development. Thank you for your insights!

If you're talking about gameplay, we did add a Guide that is available in our development log. While brute forcing is fine, as this is a visual novel and you can brute force anything there, we didn't want to lower the difficulty as we want it still be somewhat challenging. The flow might be revisited in the future, but that still mostly will be better explanations and maybe more hints if we are to add new content (Which to be fair, if you do question a certain line, it will show a hint so we thought it would be enough).
Maybe also because we are not really the best English speakers/writers and I genuinely sometimes think I am dyslexic with how I write and talk recently :v
The following is a response to above, mostly explain intentions and our thought process since we have thought about this before writing. It is... rather long since we just want to be clear and firm. Apologies if I overexplain myself:
While I appreciate the critique about the legal proceedings in chapter 3, I would like to say the entire event is just a more dramatic way to explain a rather tense situation. It is not meant to mimic any official legalities of real-life law, especially since the game does not have the same rules that govern us (to an extent as some of the parts I added in writing are non-canon to the source material).
While yes, it is supposed to be a reference to AA gameplay and art-wise, it is just only that. A massive reference. I wrote this in a sense to answer a question I had while brainstorming a year ago: "How would a trial work if it is not official, yet handled by officials?" to which I ignored all presumptions of rules that usually prolong stories like these and made it so that each character is doing this just because of emotion and pride especially since the parties involved are nowhere near the profession that they are supposed to mimic. This is the equivalent of a veteran, a police man, and a private investigator making their own courtroom. Because of that, I may not change the process and proceeding if I am to edit this section. I may clarify some moments after I get a better idea, but overall, it is not a legal trial because it is not the right people, yet it is a reasonable action at the time and conflict if we consider the setting.
Ace Attorney, which does have the same governed rules as us, means that they have to follow the law that is the same as ours. Preparing witnesses and evidence and exchanging info are mainly required and, most of all, legal. However, other than preparing evidence, it is not a luxury everyone is allowed in the situation I made. While, yes, legalities are essential as a reference, so are the setting and the situation in which I placed them. Which to be fair, the Scriviner did say later on that "this is not a real trial" since the intention is not to incriminate them but rather knowing what actually happened.
I want to explain myself on this as I expected; specifically, some would critique the Chapter 3 event as not being "correct" to real-life law, which is my intention. I wouldn't say I like it being too close to reality. If I am to mimic it and do actual research, this entire update will take many months to be accurate (as I do not have any friends in the legal business, especially the... niche of the situation.), and I do not want to force our readers to go through several unnecessary steps to explain and wait especially since the wait for this update was already too long. That, and I mostly just wanted to surprise people. Besides, that entire event is just 10-20% of the game, so it is not a focus to be so accurate as everyone is already screaming at me for monster seggs.
Hope this helps clear it up!
Old saves are not compatible with the new update due to updating Renpy versions. Because of this, you would need to start fresh to avoid any bugs.
As for skipping the event, that will be implemented in the next update along with some other changes to music and sprites. However, right now, the event cannot be skipped outside of using the skip button (or pressing shift/ctrl on the keyboard
Your choices before this day matters. When visiting the construction area, be sure to ask on checking out Jin's house. If Jin says "ask Leo" instead of a reincheck, this means you did not hang out with him on prev days or did not choose the right responses. This is already a sign that you are locked out of his route. His route is purposefully made a bit harder to reach because of his mannerisms. Make sure to save often so you can reload if you ever make a mistake.
And in case some wonder, your dateable is not available all the time. Some days your dateable will not be available at all, because they are busy.
The story will be complete when 1.0 releases but we will be releasing some additional updates to the game, such as sprite changes, backgrounds, QOL changes, and maybe even some additional CGs or content depending on our speed. Although after 1.0, these updates will not be as frequent or will have a set schedule since they are just to clean everything up.
Once the game reaches ver 2.0, we are official done with it.
As ShroudedLion said, we will not be implementing poly relationships mostly because we don't want it to be... "forced". Like how shipping between characters then inserting the Scriviner in that relationship, or vice versa.
Once we get a better idea of polycules, we might implement it, but with our current experience (both irl and in media), we are not ready to even dive into the thought yet.
Especially ships that are a bit more... risque

Also, for anyone, questions regarding the Guide should be in the guide devlog instead to help others too.
I dont think I understood what you meant..... But I understand medical report so I am assuming you're in the second cross... but If you check the guide, the order of actions is important, otherwise it might just be the wrong evidence or line you're reading. (The reason why I didn't specify the line in the guide is to help you connect the dots rather than just breezing through, so it might be confusing on the numbering,)
For the second cross, question the 5th line, and the 6th line would change. Basically adding something new. Then present the evidence on the new info, which is the 6th line after questioning. Remember, if you are stuck, question every line. You will get new info and important hints. There is a hint in every cross that does help you even without checking the guide.
And while we appreciate your input, we didn't appreciate how you worded it that we do it because we "like it" (How calling us having a trauma boner and saying it is our goal to deny everyone). It didn't sound like criticism nor input but rather felt like frustration, which came across to us as rude.
While we do plan to add sex to the game eventually, please don't forget this game is still in development and things may change. Our priority is the story since we are not a sexual based VN, which might have been misconstruted by the art and such. We obviously won't be doing like you said, adding sex only at the last bits. We just chose to develop the story first before we even dive in (I am not sure if you play Monster Hunter which this was based off of, but the game is rich in lore, and it felt like a waste if we didn't prio that.). The game may be in 0.6, but it's still nowhere near done. I'd say we are only halfway-ish through.
And also to set expectation, again, the next update won't feature sex. Just to get it out there if you prefer to skip that one since we still do feel bad for blueballing our fans. We are not a sexual based VN where the main character can have sex anytime like the examples you've given, so it's not a proper comparison. That and we are still new so we kinda learning...
So.... You dislike our game because there is no sex within the first 18 days (To clarify including About 7/8 of them you don't talk to them)?
Just trying to understand if I get your frustrations right... mostly cause I think the comparison between our story focused game vs sexual focused games you given as an example is a bit off...
I mentioned this in the actual devlog but old saves do not work at all. You would have to start over, but you can still utilize the skip functions. This is due to an updated renpy version that changed how I order my files, so things like... that happen, when you load old saves.
A reminder as well, new updates usually dont work with old saves regardless due to Renpy not being update friendly, especially since I often update the flow code every now and then. Please be reminded that this game is still in development so expect bugs when loading old saves even if they work.
Not "adventure" per se, it's similar to the Building bonds update, where going through each route will tell more of their story, rather than the overall plot.
Because let me clarify a few things: The game focuses on 2 story points: The overall plot which 0.1 and 0.6 does, while the rest is character focused, like the events for 0.2 and 0.4/0.5
The armor will be given later. All items are not locked behind choices, so you will be getting them regardless. Please be sure as well the game is updated and follow the guide i commented below. Oh, sometimes going in blind too helps since looking at the Guide before playing will make you question intentional events, so play forward first.
Also be reminded to add spoiler tags when asking since I will delete comments here that mentions certain events. Repeated offenders will be banned
For those stuck in chapter 3, I made an updated Guide. A reminder as well, spoilers with no tag will be deleted. (Including questions)

Please be sure to update your game and use a new save file if the guide doesnt work as your save file might have skipped some coding changes before 0.6.3.1.
I will answer this plainly. If youre looking for actual sex scenes to happen in the next update (0.7), it will not happen. I am sure you understand why.
we will release them on its own update that may take longer again (either 0.8/0.9). We will announce it of course on our twitter, but the next update is mostly to tie loose ends for this current update.
We want to tell a story first rather than dive deep into fling territory

I will be honest, we did want to add tension to the game but it felt awkward to just have it words so instead we decided to add humor by programming the entire AA event in the game (which weirdly was because the admiral had that thing on its neck like edgeworth), plus its not always fun reading text when its drama. Its made to look silly because of that, and was intentional. It is meant to be a funny thing before the actual sad thing :) And this will not happen again anyway since its a one time thing. Yes, we spent too much effort on a one time joke QuQ
The reason why nobody else mentioned the first visitor is cause, only the felynes, Elder, and gerald knew. Nobody else did, as like with on the first day. Gerald knew about Scriviners, but prefers not to mention it at all. I made it so it wouldnt complicate the plot on older days. Remember, the letter mentioned that he didnt go into the village, just stayed in the old Elder's house, which is where you are currently staying.
I know I shouldnt explain myself, but I want to let you know some parts were intentional and might not change cause of it. I also do take it to heart 100% and appreciate the comment! We were actually hoping you enjoy this update since you helped us get known in furry reddit haha. Tbh, chapter 3 still needs 1 more day to wrap up, but we were exhausted and had a deadline so most of what happens here will be explained next update!
Oh its not mentioned, but you can skip through it after going through once with one route. Pressing Shift/Ctrl on the keyboard for PC and the skip button on mobile becomes active. It will still stop on some parts, but that is more just so it doesn't visually glitch to the point that it was confusing.
Will look into it but that sounds like an issue with the original save file from an old version of the game. I've been getting many reports like this that were results from old save files. Regardless, will keep testing but from our end, it doesn't seem to happen even after using the skip button.
Will keep exploring this.
The most recent update actually has the option of the FF:
After going through the first time and finishing it, if you press shift on desktop, it will skip.
As for mobile, the skip button will be active.
We purposefully made it where you have to go through the first round in full experience, but if you do another route, it should be skippable.
