There's a Win7 version of EdgeWebView2, but it doesn't help. Too old, perhaps. I also tried to throw VxKex at it, as sometimes it does help, but no dice this time. Maybe I'll think of something else, but not sure as of now.

At least I can think of, like, right now, is that Construct also has an option to export as Node.js version or something... but it's really up to you. I have Win10, if anything, and though I do not use it often, it's an option.

Guess I didn't want that standalone for nothing. Firefox is my main.

Still cannot launch it under Windows 7, unfortunately.

But hey, a manual! Now that's what I call a proper retro-package. Cheers.

Oh, thank you so very much. I am truly grateful. I'd threw in a dollar or two as well, but, unfortunately, cannot really do it right now because I'm from Russia and all russian credit cars are banned worldwide.

I'll try to remember that when and if the situation will change.

Based on a 1993 game and there's no downloadable exe? Come on...

I know you have a GitHub for this thing, but, I suppose, it was made in Construct 3, and that soft doesn't allow you to export the project in a free version. Otherwise I'd done it myself. Either way, I've been quite hoping for something like a Node.js version...

I will, thanks!

Well, I'm not him, but I want to thank you for the official downloadable version. I've downloaded the HTTP version first, learned how to launch my own https server, generate key with SSL and all the jazz, but it is much easier to simply have it in the rar and ready to play.

Are you planning any further updates, should I monitor it? Or is the game pretty much done at this point?

No. I upload everything on Yandex Disk nowadays, at least because YD doesn't block my files for their own reasons. I don't know your reasoning, but I'd rather trust YD, than find this script unavailable for download tomorrow. If it make you feel anyhow easier, I've never had any troubles with YD so far.

Anyone else is free to download my file and re-upload it to Mediafire or wherever else. I'm not doing it though.

I really wish there would've been more to this game.

First of all, thank you very much for giving us this glorious, yet painfully short game. Games as an art are such a rarity these days around, in this age of games as services. I've enjoyed Symphonia a lot. I hope, you will bring us more games like this one. Or maybe even a sequel?

I've also came here to mention that I've made myself a quick fix for controls, which I intend to share. Since I do not own a proper gamepad, I've made a really simple 6-lines long AutoHotKey script which enables any WASD-keyboard to properly control the game. Using it is a tad bit easier than swapping language in Windows settings.

So, if anyone still want to play (or maybe re-play) this game, here's my script: https://disk.yandex.ru/d/FlBWE-ZmXJOy_A

Obviously, you need to download AutoHotKey in order to use it: https://www.autohotkey.com/

Other than that, everything is simple - just click and play. Hopefully, it will help somebody to enjoy this little masterpiece.

Have a good one!
