Aww, thank you! I'm glad that you had fun with my little poison game [:
I did notice the brewing problem when I eventually got to actually playtesting the game, but unfortunately I had neither the time nor energy left to fix it at that point. But it's definitely something I will be revisiting after the jam!
This was a wonderful little game! And you even let us fall in love with a robot, which of course is a great bonus. I also think you managed to nail down the atmosphere of it very well, the CRT filter gives that really nice touch to set the game's feel in stone. (Or burn it into a disk, in this case!)
Excited to see what you do next!
Haha, thank you for the (many) kind words! I'm glad you enjoyed it! [:
- The central area isn't supposed to stay gray! You (should) get an option to alight it once you complete all four side areas. Maybe you missed one? (Or maybe my code went jank somewhere, but let's hope it wasn't that ^^')
- Yeah, the difficulty of the game may be a bit meh in places. I had to rush the level design a little bit!
- And, oh, yeah, I didn't think about non-QWERTY keyboards. Arrow keys should still work, though, I hope? If not, I'll see what I can do!
And we'll see, maybe I will add something more! I'm planning on at least one potential update, though it's mostly miscellaneous bug fixes and some more art assets that I'd like to do.
Haha thank you, glad to hear that you enjoyed it!! Limiting the moves was the original idea, actually, but I got rid of it because I thought that letting the player bounce around as much as they want was just more fun. The counting of moves, though, yeah! That's absolutely something I should have put in the game, instead of counting bounces. I'll patch that in after the jam, thank you! :]
