Really liking the music even after several playthrough, it just really hits so well and just fits the gameplay in some ways I cant explain.
But mostly I'm deep into the lore of the guy, what did he do to find himself in a graveyard with aliens, barrels and katanas cooperating to kill him? where he goin?
I just finally managed to win (because somehow the game stopped shooting bullets for 20 seconds) but it doesn't explain anything, it all ends up on a cliffhanger.
You owe me a sequel with answers
Thanks! I unexpectedly had fun with it too, also had so many ideas around the charged strike but didn't make it in time to even finish the main mode, set apart additional mechanics :(
By the way I didn't make a sprite for each direction, in the attack state it appears over the player as a separate entity jointed to the shoulder, and rotated towards the mouse (this also helps calculating the fist hitbox based on the rotation)

The Overlord has always been referred to as "Overlord" or "evil Overlord" by occasional visitors, so he grew accustomed to introduce himself as that too.
The ghost has been wandering for so long that she forgot her past life, I call her ghost girl. She has been called with dispregiative names by several mortals, as she often tricked, scared, mocked them until their -natural- death; after centuries she eventually got tired of it, since when they die it's forever and she can just mock them for a tiny fraction of time. This was before she met the Overlord

I'm sorry but this version of the game is a little older than the others that I've published, you should play it on Newgrounds or Kongregate to earn the golden skin
