Awesome love the art! And I never noticed the "throwing hands" from the sides.

Also, I love just standing still and he gets hit with the bricks; his face is "i'm so done with this .-."

I think this is one of the most original concept I saw for this theme ! I would have loved some more background but overall the animation is neat ! However the hit sound really destroyed my ears

Developer

Thanks :)
You're right, sorry for your ears... both for the hit sound and my terrible BGM hahah.
I still get PTSD from hearing it the whole time during development.

The fact that successful strikes put you back into the ready state really helps push the gameplay of this one over the edge for me.  It was also a nice touch making a sprite for each attack direction. Great Graphisms!

Thanks! I unexpectedly had fun with it too, also had so many ideas around the charged strike but didn't make it in time to even finish the main mode, set apart additional mechanics :(

By the way I didn't make a sprite for each direction, in the attack state it appears over the player as a separate entity jointed to the shoulder, and rotated towards the mouse (this also helps calculating the fist hitbox based on the rotation)

:)

Oh nice! It was very convincing especially with how quick the attack goes by.

I really like the artstyle, it fits well for this type of game.

Ah, I feel like I'm in an 80s movie about an underground fighting tournament. Except I'm having bricks hurled at me. I thought this was neat, but I particularly liked the touch of being able to hit bricks behind my back. Too bad there was no end state! Oh well. Well done anyways!
