Glad to see you released the game! great job keeping your scope in check and going through with the project!
I started following you around the time you set out to start this project.

I really like the game!

One bug in the tutorial....
If you already have the herd split in two, when the npc tells you to try to split the heard in two, you cannot advance the tutorial and have to restart the level.

Edit: why not make an HTML build so people can play on Itch on the browser? it is not hard at all, you should give it a shot.

Score 80110.

I actually enjoyed the game. the ghosts increasingly getting closer and closer kept me on the run  and engaged.
there where a few bugs i encountered, like going into negative hit points without dieing or the car  kicking me out of it as soon as I entered. The motorcycle was the best and didn't have that bug. I'd also set a min and max value for the zoom and streamline the controls (or make them user bindable, but hey, it is a game jam after all).
I like the survival aspect, i like the music and the desolate open world. good job!

Thanks for taking the time to play it and giving feedback! I agree, the controls, specially the inventory system, is the weakest link.  Funny thing is is that i continue working on that inventory system today, I won't try and force it onto a game again though haha.

Thanks a lot for playing the game and special thanks for taking the time to write such a detailed and helpful piece of feeback and advice!
If I were to change something about the game, it would be the inventory system. I'd replace it for just a system where the character can hold one item at a time and place it on the different machines or turrets, but oh well, this is how it came out, but i learned a lot, and thanks to feeback like yours, I get to learn even more!

ps. you made my day with your kind words.

To be 100% honest, i don't know how to play the game, but that may be just me not having being exposed to this genre before. either way, the game could use a little bit of an explanation on the description of the page. god knows i made the same mistake on my own submission (people just don't know how to play the game).

I really liked the music and effects, what did you use to make them?

This is a very well made  game, congrats to you and your team! I feel it got a little too easy by the end where i just got a deck full of "cost nothing" cards and with emotional being so necessary, I just pretty much ignored the cards with an emotional cost.

Hi there Whistpotion, Thank you so much for the detailed and useful constructive criticism. I know it takes some effort  just to type down your thoughts, specially for a random guy on the internet.
I agree, the mechanics aren't communicated well (if at all) and may be confusion with no directions from the game. I would love to have people test my games, but being so absolutely new to gameDev, I literally know no one who'd help out the way you metion, I hope to meet people along the way that do.

There are many things about the game that I'd do differently, including the UI and inventory mechanics, which as you said are completely unintuitive , but for this jam,  guess the game is what it is haha. Thanks again, I'll be checking your subission soon and good luck!

I didn't manage to complete it as i was already late for class, I'll figure out how to leave a rating when i get back home.

I played the game and I like how the levels are all random, think you should've added some checkpoints or at least limited those super long jumps. They kind of made me feel like losing when that happened wasn't under my control.

you just leave the spare parts in the turrets inventory  and it'll repair itself. Should've made that clear considering ghe name of the game haha. I would do many things differently but time was short and couldn't backtrack.

I'll check your submissions. I didn't see one yesterday.

This was great! love the filter, It's what i wanted for my submission but being so new to GameDev, I just didn't know how to implement it. Congrats!

Hey, Thank you for the feedback! I quickly put together a tutorial area just now, so people can move around in and see how it works. nothing too fancy as time is almost over for the jam.

Lovely little game, Im not 100% sure what i needed to do to get better but I finished it anyway. Love the colors and art.

Very nicely done and polished game!! id only get rid of the mouse aiming and just let it shoot to where you're currently looking.

Nice one! I had to text my mother to reassure her :)

I like how the game feels with its sound and atmosphere.
As far as improvements go. I'd like it if the door would open automatically once you found the key, instead of having to find it in your inventory and then use it on the door (but that may only be a problem with games with lots of potential keys). I also feel like the monster is too fast but that may be me haha.

Thank you for the feeback :) I just added 'Space' to the description of the controls.
I'll take a look at Touch of Madness now.
