And if I install and run the windows version, it cannot find the saves from the Linux version

I always get a "ReferenceError s is not defined" in Linux. I tried the patch linked in the txt-file for Linux users, but that didn't change that at all. nw and nwjc just crash

Not sure with which version it worked last, but rn I cannot start the Linux version at all. When starting "Game", I get ReferenceError s is not defined

and with nw and nwjc is crashes before even loading a GUI (just an exit code in itch

During a fight with a Naga, the game crashed. I got the error

Game version: 0.3.22.0

Error: Animation not found: Dick Cycle Caged

Shall I upload the error log? (and if yes, where?)

First of all: The new update is awesome. The Linux version finally works fine out of the box. I only found the feature to mute the game with del weird (noticed when creating a new char and fixing a typo in the name)

But I have one question: Where are the save files this time? The last version had them in ~/.toa-data, but those get ignored now. They also don't appear in the installation folder where they were in prior versions (and where they were when I run the previous windows version with wine). I would quite like to continue with my old save files.

Thank you :) For now I am using the Windows version with wine, but that is really quite slow and has its own small glitches (no reason to fix those, as wine shouldn't be used for Java games anyways, but that was the only working solution for now)

Keep up the good work, I look forward to the next release ;)

The version on Linux is pretty much unplayable rn, since everytime you press an X button within the game it crashes with this:

X Error of failed request:  BadCursor (invalid Cursor parameter)

Major opcode of failed request:  2 (X_ChangeWindowAttributes)

Resource id in failed request:  0x7c0008d0

Serial number of failed request:  2539

Current serial number in output stream:  2540

AL lib: (EE) alc_cleanup: 1 device not closed

Only the numbers change sometimes. I've tried both the default java version from my distro (openjdk 11.0.12) and a version from Oracle themselves (1.8.0_301) and both fail with this error code. (Running with java -jar TalesOfAndrogyny.jar) As far as I know this seems to be related to X11. If you want to reproduce my setup in a VM, I am using Debian 11 with Cinnamon.

The executable never seemed to actually work, since it complains about a missing TalesOfAndrogyny.json, which doesn't seem to exist anywhere.

It seems as if any click on any X in the Game to close e.g. the options or the save menu seems to crash the game...

When I click on a few things in the main menu, the game crashes. I opened the progress, closed it, opened the options, clicked on close and the game crashed.

I have now deleted it via itch, installed it again and just started nw without doing anything and somehow it now seems to work (do the bars all end at the edge of the screen as if they were cut?)

Oh, I never saw that, since it is hidden in the installation folder, that you don't visit, if you install via the desktop program.

When I just used chmod, nw did start - after a very long loading time, but gave a lot of fontconfig errors and warnings. But at least the character view was there now. The were status bars though, that looked like they were cut of by the end of the window.

When I added the patch from google drive, it was broken again: nw didn't start and ./Game was unchanged (still with missing references etc)

Why does it recommend to install nwjs 0.45.6 instead of the current stable release? (0.53.1)

The Windows version with wine only gives a black picture btw

The Linux version seems to be broken. There is no view of the character during the whole creation process or the selection of the content and as soon as one finishes that, the game crashes with "ReferenceError v is not defined". Trying to open the menu with Esc during the creation wil crash the game with "ReferenceError storecl is not defined". That makes the current version literally unplayable sadly.
