Hey! hope you're doing well. I don't really have an issue with people tweaking the goose, I think it's really awesome! You're always welcome to hit up the Discord and make mods that are distributed safely, but I'm clearing this comment because I've gotten a lot of reports of adware and such from it :(
The uninstaller I used was terrible and I should have just made my own. There's a new uninstalling help menu in the menu in your taskbar. If you don't see it, click the 'up' arrow in the bottom right! You can always get help in the Discord, and there's youtube videos about it!
It's still uninstallable, the menu icon that has the uninstall help menu is in the bottom right. It's in the popup when you install and update the meadow. Will be in your system tray in your taskbar!
I think I figured out the problem but would need to see if we can fix it for you because I'm not hitting it on my computer. Would you mind @-ing me in the #meadow-support channel of the discord at discord.gg/4psvWx7 ? (or if you can't, e-mailing support@samchiet.com with your itch.io username)? Does this happen when the program starts up (crashing when you try to open it)?
Thank you so much!! There's some weirdness where it's hard to detect fullscreen apps... I'm gonna try adding something that lets you disable the meadow for x minutes at a time and resets its position if I can't figure out the fullscreen thing.
Yessss, so glad it's working! If you run into any more issues e-mail support@samchiet.com . I know there's a couple weirdnesses lying around on some people's computers that I want to make sure are taken care of when I move to the new engine. Thanks again, and enjoy the meadow :)
Hey! If you're still interested, you can try the new update! There's some weird permissions thing on some peoples' computers happening... I think? It's been really hard to track down but I overhauled error tracking in this version. If it throws an error it'll help a lot to figure out what's causing it.
You may have still had it running when uninstalling it. Worst case scenario, you can just quit the program, go to whatever folder you installed it in (by default C:\Program Files (x86)\Samperson\Desktop Meadow) and delete it :)
In the *worst worst* case, you can just quit the app, delete the install folder, and everything will be good! (which is by default C:\Program Files (x86)\Samperson\Desktop Meadow)
It's not a virus, I just don't have a code-signing certificate yet. It's easy to uninstall. Just go to the 'uninstall a program' menu in Windows, and uninstall it after quitting it.
There's also an 'uninstall' executable in the folder you install it into.
If you still can't get rid of it after looking at all of these, there's something up on your end and you can hop into my Discord in #meadow-support to get some help!

Fixed in v0.21! Just make sure you're extracting it to a real folder that's not a random appdata local thing too if you want it to work with all features :)
