It went super well! We're trying out different systems before settling on one to use for the next long-term adventure in our fantasy setting. Everyone enjoyed AtO, and we're going to do another adventure with (most of) the same characters next month. If that goes well, it may end up being our new game!

Playing this tomorrow morning. So excited! We have a Strategist, Bard, and two Mystics.

It was Warframe, haha. Eventually managed to get through it, my brother has been playing the game since the start and thinks the issue was caused by a more recent update because he'd never had an issue with that particular fight.

Believe it or not, Warframe! There's a famously bugged boss fight, Mutualist Alad V. My favourite glitch was one where I somehow became immune to dying, that plus the more common "can't hurt the boss" glitch inspired this.

I didn’t witness this controversy, but I’m both a Warframe fan and a Nova fan so I’m very excited to read this. Thanks for sharing in spite of the negative memories surrounding the development of the game. My brother and I play both Warframe and ttrpgs together during weekly catch ups, so this is a great game for us to play together. I’m very thankful you shared it.

Hell yeah I love the mechanic of leaving boxes covered/uncovered to determine what events happen. And Extinction Burst is so incredible! Keen to run this some time when my regular group cancels.

Let’s go kiwirpg! I’ve been looking forward to this jam for ages.

Tossing around a couple ideas at the moment. So far:

* A table of more extreme mutations for Strange Squad (partly written.) For people who want to play that game on Hard Mode, haha.

* A sequel to Monster Hunter’s Journal where some monsters who want revenge have come into possession of the journal. I only just had this idea so right now it’s just a few sentences in my phone.

Long time reader, first time player. So much joy when my partner and I had our first Wanderhome session last night! A haunted veteran and a bright-eyed young dancer who reminds her of the people she knew in darker times...I am excited for the sweetness and sorrow of their adventures both!

I love how this game encourages so much creativity, and keeps surprising players even without any 'true' random elements. The highlight was improvising the plot of an entire play when the duo attended a community theatre production. I definitely didn't see that coming when we were picking out natures for a new location!

You are so right-thanks for pointing this out! It's since been updated: a roll succeeds if any of the dice rolled land on 5 or 6.

Thanks, I'm glad you like it! I actually haven't updated the layout yet (several paid projects to work on right now!), but the idea of adding a second triangle is something I hadn't considered. Will think about it!

I love this so much! I like the combination of magical and mundane threats, and wooj is a fun twist on the bonus pool.

I noticed that both white and black magic allow you to heal yourself- was that intentional?

Aww thanks Hugh! I had a lot of fun working on this one.

Hi, I'm Sam! I've made several small rpgs and supplements for other games. Always up for a good game jam. Just started mucking around with some ideas for this one this morning, am excited to see where it goes.

Simple and sweet, with two evocative endings! My favourite move is Connect and Confess.

Very cool and evocative! These tables look like they could easily be incorporated into a bigger cyberpunk game- if I ever get to playing one I'll need to give this a go!

Aww thanks, glad you like the mechanics! That was the main motivation for making this thing, I thought the triangle idea was cool and wanted to get it out there into the world. I'll try improving the layout once I'm done with a few time sensitive projects.

Aww thanks so much! Really heartening to hear (layout tends to be my weak point, so not surprised about that bit.)

I LOVE the heroic sacrifice mechanic! Everything I want and need from a dramatic storytelling game. Can't wait to test this out some time!

Running this for some friends tomorrow night! Really excited for it and so are they.

We played this tonight. A vampire baker and a werecat influencer saved some kids from a bored elder entity. We used random tables for everything except character creation, 10/10 would do this again.

My BitD GM recommend this to me and it does not disappoint. Love this and hope I get a chance to play it some time!

Approved! You are most welcome, I hope the bundle does well.
