I think you got the slider working fine, but I am sure there's some conflicting code that resets it back (maybe when you straight alt-f4, maybe when you go to a different room etc. or the x position of the slider changes back because the player's got a different resolution on the monitor - you gotta think outside the box - there's tons of stuff players can do which will always reveal some 'bugs', hence it's great you release it now and people can report if they encounter it and how they did.

If you really find coding the slider hard then you can just make a small change to it, instead of being a slider (you can still draw it as a slider) make some big dots along the line like (O-O-O-O) each dot represents volume percentage (0-25%-50%-100%) just keep it simple like that, just a click of one dot and it changes the volume. Anyways sorry for the big walls of text, hopefully you can get something out of it 🥰 Keep up the good work!

No problem! I've had some sound problems myself in videos like crackling and pops - it's very frustrating dealing with audio it seems like the problem is always hiding behind several layers of random things you may never think of. IMO controlling the sound is actually useful; I've noticed when someone encounters a small inconvenience regarding a game (take the sound slider) - they want to get it fixed on the SPOT; yes you can just press windows key and slide the audio mixer, but people might think alt tabbing breaks games (and it does with some I can't lie) so they'd rather hit esc quit and have the volume right in their face boom problem fixed 3 buttons - esc click volume esc again to resume. 

Really enjoyed the whole aesthetic of the game! I got it done in 20min - Not sure if this was a demo, maybe the player goes back into the house during midnight later on? There's a lot of ideas you can work with 👍

I have to mention that I initially thought the game had no sound till I pressed ESC and put the slider all the way up; the slider also once again went all the way down at a random time when I was exploring the cave, so I put it back up again, not sure what triggered it, maybe some spike lags, although I've experienced those in Unity games before. Really well made game I loved it! I played "Baby Bonny Has a Secret" so I knew the quality was gonna be on par! The hospital vibe was really eerie and the assets were well placed. I wasn't expecting that "thing" at the end even though it makes sense now. Would love to see more of this if you are to continue developing it further. Good luck! ❤️

Hey, I tried to play this recently but it seems like there is no sound in the game? Although I see gameplays in the comments with sound I'm not sure if they're playing an older version given you've updated the game recently. Check the version you've just uploaded and let me know if it's actually a problem on my side, thank you!

Loved the game! The swaying motions/camera effects are a bit strong but I've personally gotten used to them slowly. I loved that you can freely go between chapters fast enough to try different endings. I thought the light switches got a secret combination for a secret ending but maybe I'm overthinking. Anyways, fun game to play, the jumpscares really got me as seen in video 😅 Thank You! ❤️

I wanted to let you know of some bugs that I've encountered, I wrote down the specific timings so you can check it on my gameplay video:

(time ~ 6:45) Picking up items is kind of a hit or miss, example toilet key (maybe increase the size of the invisible cube that lets you interact with player)

(time ~ 7:20) The crawling in the bathroom stalls was quite bothersome as it wouldn't let me do it, the area was very small and specific that I could finally crawl under (it might be the same problem as above)

(time ~ 8:15) For some reason after the whole crawling segment my player's speed doubled, I couldn't run anymore but my normal walking speed was like twice as fast as a normal run, this was throughout the rest of the game, you can see how fast I zoom through at time 8:50

Other than that I truly enjoyed the game and I wish you the best of luck!!

The only thing that bothered me is that I was not aware that I had a flashlight on me (by pressing "F" on keyboard) so my first playthrough was me going around in circles in the dark rooms.

Hey! I apologize it's been a long time since my last reply, been really busy these past days 😔

I finally had time to upload my gameplay! You did an amazing job on the game I truly enjoyed it! I loved the whole concept and the visuals bring it together well. I was expecting more houses to take photos of but I guess you can always expand the game.

Also I appreciate the kind words you placed into the game! 🥰 At first I assumed the game read the player's PC user to break the '4th wall' but I checked other gameplay videos and that wasn't the case 🤭

The ending had a nice twist! It reminded me of an old game called Moirai. This kind of ending leave so many posibilities to be done but it gets quite complex since you would need a server for other people to get involved into.

Can you actually move the player or am I missing something?

I start the game and even though I can hear my footsteps and camera sounds, the camera only shows the front house wobblying around. I cannot do anything but hear the sounds. I am not able to move my player or the camera at all..

Regarding the version you sent via email, it runs very well! I have finished the game and run it multiple times for editing stuff and I haven't had any crashes or bugs happening whatsoever; constant 120+ FPS. I'm not sure if others might encounter the same problem as you did, for safe measurements I would create a dropdown FPS list in settings where players could easily switch between frames per sec. A simple list or even buttons with 30/60/120/Unlimited would do the trick if you ask me.

Hi, I tried to play but the game seems to be capped at 30 FPS. Is there a way to disable the FPS limit? I haven't been able to change it on my end.

A dropdown FPS list in settings menu or something would really help because playing right now at 30 FPS feels really choppy as I use a monitor with much higher refresh rate :(

Loved the whole aesthetic of the game! There's something about the clay stop-motion animation when it goes horror it's on another level.. I'm thinking of that Mark Twain animation from YouTube 😰

Also amazing job on the music! It's like I was trying to solve the mystery of an SCP entity.

SPOILERS / SIDENOTE: My pc crashed the moment I burned the doll, that kinda scared me for a bit but thought it was intended. I did replay it 2 more times and same thing happened around the matches section. I'm not sure if someone else got the same problem as I see no one talking on this in comments. It might be because of the sudden change in light/special effects even though my pc can handle those. Regardless I fixed it by recording with ShadowPlay instead of OBS. 😵‍💫
