Hej. First of all, thank you for asking! <3
Unfortunately, I was making this game in Godot 4.0, which is in alpha state right now. On day 7 when I was trying to export the game, I discovered a bug. That bug prevents me from exporting game to HTML or even Windows .exe.
So the game is done but I just couldn't submit it to jam :(
Maybe In the near future when and if they fix that bug I will upload it to my itch :)
Soooo... I can't export my game :)
I was using Godot 4.0 that is in alpha stage (yea I know, right...? :P) and for some reason I can't export game to HTML also when I try to export to exe it does not work (it just open and closes 1 sec after). Does anyone use Godot 4.0 and have any idea how to fix it?
A littlebit of an update on my game. I managed to do most of the basic systems (portrait is temporary from some artist online I will change it for my own art soon).
So, most mechanics works fine. ID have random generation on almost everything, from name, to adress, to serial number etc. Similar for money.
Now I need to polish graphics and I will probably try to add something more to make game more engaging. Right now it is really simple and not so much fun :P Oh well, first 7 days jam ever.
Hello, I just wanted to share my process here. I've spent first day on looking for nice, simple idea. It is inspired by Papers, please. You are a cashier in a shop. You work with clients that are not always truthful. They have fake ID or fake money. You need to be careful :).
So for now I managed to make a little prototype. From now on I'll try to just make basic systems and polish it :)
