Do you mean a version with 48x48 tile size or just formatting the tilesheets in a way that they can be easily imported into MZ if you set MZ to 32x32 tile size? Because the former would be almost as much work as doing the set from scratch, but I could do the latter withouth too much hassle...

Huh. Well, glad it worked out.
And thank you so much! I am glad you like my pixels :)

Hey there! I just double checked the tiles and it seems that an old version of the "interior-tiles-furniture-1" has snuck into the zip-file, which is missing the bed tiles. So I am not sure how you even attemted mapping a bed, but sorry for the confusion, that is entirely my fault. I have replaced the old file with the proper version. So if you download the zip-file again, there should be a bed, pillows and a bedsheet in the bottom right corner of "interior-tiles-furniture-1".
And thank you for letting me know! I hope now everything is in order now, but I will more thoroughly double check all the files over the next few days.

Woah, thanks for telling me! They must have slipped my mind when I uploaded the assets. But I remedied that just now, so they should be all there now.

Thank you!

Thanks for the heads up! That's really good to know. changed the License in the Metadata tab and will do so on my other packs as well!

yeah, I should just include CC-By4. The more detailed version is geared towards the RPG-Maker crowd, where most users aren't really familliar with standard licensing and prefer a list of "do's" and "don'ts".

Yes, it is. I do have a more detailed Terms of Use in the readme file, but you can also use it under CC-BY4.

Hey, thank you so much for telling me! I love seeing how people use my tiles!

Thank you :)

Well, I kind of went for a somewhat low contrast intentionally, because I wanted it to look murky and steamy. But of course you are free to edit it however you want :)

Since this pack is still in active development, I will change out files fairly often. So I think I will only put them in a zip folder once it's complete.

Yeah, you're right. A zip-folder would probably be more convenient.

Hi! Glad you like it!
The temple can be built from the tiles in "jungle-ruinsv2.png". You will have to assemble it using the wall, floor and stair tiles in the tilesheet. This might take a bit of practice, but breaking buildings down into tiles instead of using one big sprite allows way more creative use of architecture.

Hi guys!

I have a question that is directed mostly towards the gamedevs of this community or fellow gameart people with experience in this regard.

I am an amateur pixel artist and like to work on free to use pixelart assets in my freetime and share them with you gamedev guys. I have recently uploaded my first asset pack here. Since I like jumping from one theme to another whenever motivation wanes, I have around 5 other asset packs in the works that I would consider usable, but not "finished".

Since Itch.io focuses on indie games, there are neat tools here to publish and organize Work-In-Progress content and handle updates, whenever there is a new version, which is a very common practice for games. So I was wondering if I could do the same with my Work-In-Progress asset packs. Especially because I would love to get some early feedback and consider suggestions and ideas from the people who would actually use my assets. So my questions to you gamedevs would be:

What is the etiquette for unfinished asset packs? Would you consider using "Work-In-Progress asset packs" or would you rather wait longer for a finished version? Would you be annoyed by finding out that an asset pack you have used in your project has had an update or would you be happy to check out the changes and additions?

Just to be clear, I am not going to put up any really early assets that are of no use to anybody. I was thinking about uploading mostly assets that are already usable in their current state but will get additions and modifications in the future. (As an example: I have an unfinished asset pack that includes tiles for a nordic/viking ruin or dungeon. Most tiles are finished, but I intend to add more animated objects such as chests, doors, torches, traps and levers.).

What are your thoughts? Is Itch exactly the right place for assets that can grow and change; or should I just hold the assets back until they are finalized?

Thanks, glad you like it!

glad you like it :)
