Rough around the edges but I see the passion and effort put into this. Nice.

Good luck with Chatroom! this is going to be successful for sure.

Beautiful game, Julien! Well done. What did you use to make it?

CONGRATULATIONS TO EVERYONE!

Sounds like a good idea. In one of our future jams, we might come back to this theme.

Hi! Thanks for asking, and yes, you can submit a TTRPG if you wish. Your 'windows port' can be a PDF.

:)

Personally, I haven't read it and I wouldn't think the judges have too. But, I can learn about the book from online articles and sources, so you are free to make a game about it if you wish.

You may have some luck  with this in the #find-a-team channel on our discord server.

This game seems very well-done! I love the art style and gameplay!

Very good work! What did you use to make it?

This game jam a month long, and is all about making games adapted or inspired from an existing book or novel! It can be made with anything, for any OS, and can be any genre! We even have a discord server for the jam, where we select new judges that will judge the jam!

DISCORD LINK

The games were reviewed by the judges and were manually ranked by me according to scores set by them. They were ranked fairly and the '0' ratings are just the amount of ratings given by non-judges, which are 0 because this jam has a pre-selected team of judges.

And by a unified vote, what do you exactly mean by that?
Thanks.

Hey, Wingsky, because you have won 2nd place in the game jam, we would love for you to join our discord. We are going to be holding a new game jam soon, so you might be interested.

Even if you're not interested, you have still won 2nd place, and so the server would very much like for you to be part of our community.

The download was hidden accidentally lol. you can find it on the game page again.

And for the voice acting thing, I had to leave that idea and I cut down 80% of the game.

Ah, there is no clicking in the game.

To play, for example, you have to press 1 (as it says 1 before Play). And so on.

Press 1, then enter, to play the game.

I cannot get past the 'Subliminal Game Presents... GRAND' part, as the game shows an error and shuts down.

Does it shut down after you press anything?

As we are approaching the end of the game jam, the judging period will begin shortly. To help the judges, I have created a short survey, which will ask a few questions about your game and how you enjoyed the jam. I ask that anyone who does/is doing this jam to complete the survey. It will make the judging process easier and will provide us insight for your game. Here it is:  https://forms.gle/SpKjANR1uwoVCMfK6.

If you have already completed it, please ignore this.

Please note that if you do the survey but haven't joined the jam, your response will be removed.

Thanks, and have a good day :)

Hi, Sk1tzFr3n1k. As the jam host, I've released a survey that I want everyone doing this jam to complete. It basically asks a few questions about your game and how you enjoyed your jam. https://forms.gle/q8uFczU4mu4ANUXRA. It helps the judges understand your game better so the judging process can become easier. Much appreciated.

Please note that I have sent this survey on Discord and through Email as well, so if you have already completed it please ignore this. Thanks and have a good day :)

Thank you for submitting!

That's fine, yes.

Thanks for sharing!

As the rules say, your game can be as scary as you want but it can't have offensive or really disturbing content.

Hey Guys! I'm hosting a game jam that's all about making text-based games with ASCII art. The theme can be whatever you choose: interactive fiction, to RPG, to horror.
