Thank you so much, Saberman! I am a huge fan of the game and I can say that without conceit because I didn't create the game. David Stephenson was gracious enough to allow me to port it first to RC2014 (a Z80 system with AY sound and TMS graphics) and from there it was fairly natural to build it for MSX systems.

Thank you so much Steamknight for this beautiful game. I've been meaning to play it since I saw the Amigos review it.

Yesterday I finally got around to installing it and it lives up to the promise, the UI is so easy, the images are beautiful, the story great.

I'd like to mention something in case it helps anyone else. I had some trouble with the character thumbnails not displaying correctly - incorrect images appeared and they were corrupt.

I use a real A1200 and also use FSUAE (set up to mimic my real A1200) so I was able to mess around with the emulator until the images appeared correctly.  The setting that made a difference was extra fastram. I don't have a ram expansion in either of my A1200s - I guess almost everyone soups up their real Amiga but I used one absolutely stock back in the day and so that feels right to me. I've just ordered a trapdoor ram expansion, I'm sure that'll improve my experience generally with my A1200 (I guess I would have bought one BITD if I could have afforded one).

Anyway, to be fair you do mention in the comments here that more ram is definitely needed, my only suggestion is to add 'minimum requirements' to the game listing.

I hope you'll do more work like this game. It's brilliant.

Lots of fun - thank you!

This is my first and it worked really well for me. Before I didn't feel that I had the right skills (ie I thought that you 'have to know the tricks'), but then in the day job and hobby programming I like to be efficient (with 8-bit computers you have to be!)
Yes, I saw the invaders in a tweet - brilliant!

wouldn't that be "Mr Bloke"? 😂  I think the constraints make it much more interesting, and counter-intuitively, "completable".

I'm really pleased to see the zeddy in the competition too. Well done.

It's really impressive that you've managed this within the constraints. It's very slick.

Really good mechanic. Enjoyed it.

Nice one Greg. Once you get the hang of the controls, it's a lot of fun.

This is excellent work. The 3d scrolling floor is really clever. Even aside from that, it's surprising what you've done in the 10 lines. Do you have a uef?

This is good! An enjoyable game. It really gets the adrenaline going!

Thank you!

This works really well and is fun. I'm looking forward to trying this on a real Oric

I'm really pleased to see a musical project in the jam. I like the keys and the sound.

thanks Greg, means a lot :-)

It's great to see such a selection of platforms represented in the submissions. it's the Vic for me of course, not my first computer but the one I spent most time with as a teen. The graphic characters in the character set are great and I've never appreciated Commodore's abbreviations as much as I do now!
