I didn't say I was having trouble exactly following the path? I said I couldn't get past level 5 because the Gnorms were constantly hacking me to shreds.

I really like the foreshadowing and how there's some slightly "off" moments

-Inspecting the star present tells you Lambchop gave it to her because he wanted Stella to think about him, which is not really supposed to be the reason you give a gift to someone.

-Lambchop's name is weird. Everyone else has fairly cute names, or at least names with no gorey connotations, but Lambchop instantly makes you think of axes, chopping, and slaughterhouses. However when I saw him I sort of just brushed it off as it being a species name.

-The venus flytrap was cool foreshadowing. Because when I first saw it I thought "that's a little strange how there's a carnivorous plant in such a cutesy setting, but I guess Lambchop just has a cool plant" but at the end it gained a totally new meaning.

When I think about it I fell like it should have been totally obvious to me Lambchop was going to be the main antagonist and the culprit behind the picnic incident, but when I was actually playing it wasn't, which I think is exactly what good foreshadowing does.

-Stella saying "this isn't that kind of story" when healing the beheaded person (forgot their name ;-;), and then Lambchop later accusing her of making everything how she wants it to be with no regard for anyone else. "This isn't that kind of story." is now Stella upset that things aren't like how she wanted it and her fixing the world so that it matches her vision.

-Acorn telling Stella she's "everyone's favourite person" was another odd moment later contextualised as Stella making the whole world and everyone in it about her.

And it always feels really weird how she doesn't address what happened at all and chooses to keeps everyone in ignorance, to the point that she makes Ruuuby completely forget all the bad parts of last night.

Ruuuby being a wolf, yet dressed in Little Red Riding Hood's clothes and having Red's character (association with baskets). Lambchop lamenting that Ruuuby is a predator yet "indistinguishable from any prey animal." Ruuuby said the meat Lambchop force-fed her tasted good. Would she rather eat meat than the baked treats she makes?

The Little Red stuff was a really clever way to show that perhaps Ruuuby is playing a part she wasn't made for and didn't truly choose.

This comment is so long xD, just wanted to say I think your game is so interesting and so well made.

SPOILER WARNING

This game was a lot of fun (Or should I say fear?). I love how the twist comes as a sudden shock, but it actually makes sense once you think about it. Why does the PC end up back in the bathroom after taking a manhole... that was inside the bathroom? Because after coming out, she went back to kill everyone. The mirror scene and "blacking out" was foreshadowing some split personality shenanigans. And that's why she was so composed when seeing dead bodies with blood everywhere... because massacres happened all the time, right? The NPC you're supposed to think is the killer is probably a ghost, and even the name of the game makes more sense, the killer is the one pointing and clicking.

Not everything makes sense, but a surprising amount does, which is why I think the twist was really good. The only thing I think could be improved would be if the PC either didn't see a murder happen through her window, or if it were also revealed she was working with other murderers.

I liked the game as soon as I saw the pixel art and heard the music, but haven't been able to continue playing because of a problem in the save/load. I talked to the ICA person and then the police guy and then saved and Quit. However when I loaded my save I was back to before I talked to him, and I definitely loaded the manual save not the autosave.

Worse, there was a strange bug where after talking to the policeman and the cutscene of Sara leaving the police station played, my save would automatically load so that after leaving the police station Sara would be on the far left (where I was when I loaded the save) rather than directly outside the police station, and when I walked forward Sara would once again enter the police station and the exchange would take place as if nothing ever happened, trapping us in an endless groundhog day of talking to a shitty police officer. I tried loading the autosave instead but the same thing happened, also a bit strange how the manual save and autosave are the exact same.

I'm not that far into the game yet (thankfully), but it is a little annoying to have to New Game because of a glitch. I hope you fix this issue.

Man I've barely reached level 5 and my heart is already beating with crippling anxiety. Just one step out of line and the Gnorms hack me to shreds... the way I'm shaking makes me wonder if I have more anxiety/struggling to fit/rejection issues than I thought...

I honestly don't think I'll be able to play much more of this, but the fact that it does make me feel this way speaks to what a great depiction of "trying to fit in" it is.
