Being a fan of manager/leveling up systems with elements of relation progression like pregnancy and children, I enjoy this entry into that game genre.

But having played the free version now for a couple of hours, I run into a lot of what seem to be bugs.

E.g. Mio gets stuck at level 4 with all full hearts, same for the mage at level 1, going to the barn with Mio seems to be adding nothing (on a personal note, I would not put 'hints' of bestiality in the main text), the hooker's magic seems to restore full each day (so why are there steps to get it down by 20 or 40 on a day if it matters little in the end?), if you enable extreme mode it forgets the setting each time you sleep.

This many bugss does not encourage people to buy a full game or support, other than that I find it an interresting entry and I wish you the best of luck in developing it further.

I'll try that. I assume for the program folder you mean the location strife/files  (412 Kb) and not in the location strife/backup/files (271 Kb)?

Thank you for answering. I actually found out about the no information thing being a proper in game thing. I guess I had never send my nurse away without replacing her. When I gave a new person the "nurse" job it worked. So for that it was false alarm.

Ragrding the baldness:  It is not that they all show bald. Just many  (~25%) children (Regardless of what age I grow them up to) are bald only when I give a hair growth tonic do they start having hair.

Regarding hairstyles: I meant that when I select "bun" in customization it auto selects "two braids" or "ponytail" becomes "straigth"

I am not sure regarding your question as I downloaded it ages ago, but I am running 1.8d and this was a new game with that mod that is running on and off for months.

(I still have to redo a portrait pack once I have nearly 400 nude/preg pictures now (modified myself or from various sources) and still more to convert)

I suddenly lost all information on whether a girl is ovulating or not as well as how much cum is in her pussy or vagina. It happened to all the saves of this particular run. Any idea what could have happened? I would like to have it returned, especially the first is useful information.

I also have lots of hairstyle giving the wrong one. As in if I select one from the top down menu, it actually gives the one prior to it.

Also a lot of girls are born bald.

Go to your mansion, plan a group to travel somewhere as if you would go into a dungeon. There you will find the new location.

Just a few suggestions and non-game breaking issues:

1)The Souleater class : When you use consume soul you only obtain the "freefloating" xp not yet used to buy classes. I would suggest that you also gain xp for the amount of classes the target has. If it is considered too good/not canonical/too hard to code to gain the true xp, I would suggest a flat amount per class, e.g. 100.

Currently, the (true) Succubus with the ability to convert lust to xp seems to be able to gain xp faster with their mechanic despite being much easier to obtain as class.

2) Would Holy Strike not fit the Templar better? The class provides additional light damage, but the attack provided by the class does fire damage. I understand Holy Strike is better (and provided by Monk, but perhaps they need a "Deadly Blow" skill, physical damage + stun comes to mind as an option) and perhaps that for balance reasons it was not given, but it is something that I wanted to throw out there as an idea.

3) Several unlockable classes state they provide a skill, while their prerequisite class already provides it. I am not sure if you can randomly find e.g. a sniper or director without meeting the prerequisites for it (which I have seem happen with e.g. the Acoylte class random NPC find), but otherwise it seems redudandant to state it. Examples: Sniper giving medium armor proficiency but this is also provided by Ranger and Archer or Director and Headgirl both give Public Humiliation skill. 

4) The Earthquake spell seems to point to a wrong global (at least textually)

5) You get a pop up for each item created with cooking. Yet, you tend to do more batches there. To prevent spam, I would suggest only a pop-up when one assignment is finished.

6) Perhaps a way to allow for more combat skills in the way more classes are shown, a.k.a. smaller symbols if you get more. You can of course alter which skills are in the bottom row, but if you get to a point you want to use more than 9 (that happens for me for social skills of the master mainly), it is rather cumbersome to change out skills (if I remember at all, as I do not see the other skills. :P But that is my own problem).

7) Personally I would love to see pregnant portraits for the unique characters. So that you can see the development of the story (e.g. Mae, if you do not adhere to her request (trying to avoid to many spoiilers)) - however, you play it.

8) Cali's quest to retrieve her heirloom has localization issue retrieving the neighbour village as [name village]. It does highlight it in the travels menu by making the correct town's name yellow.

9) After winning the heirloom back and calling her daughter, maybe reset the master noun. She does call you daddy in that dialogue, but in the mansion her master noun is still 'master'. Also in later scripted conversations she does not reference this, unless you change the master noun.

10) Some quests I have seen add loyalty to some unique character. However, I did not notice this for missions helping out Daisy, Cali, Mae (if you do right by here), and Lilia. I did not check if it went up and the log just did not show it or if it was not added for these 4 missions.

11) Mae does not actually get proper statblock if you go the not honorable route, she neither has more than 1 partner, nor is she carrying a child.

12) A way to use excess loyalty, as I have a NPC (without having reached the end of the story line yet) with 1k+ extra loyalty.

13) Currently it is unclear (to me at least) in the service mode what overwrites what, as the explanatory text never updates. Does non-penetrative override Sextoy or not? Also, it seems some of the options earn oddly less. As the game values sexual acts, giving the most money, but dancer is above stripper in earning wages.

14) I think the Knight class is subpar to the Paladin class while being mutually exclusive. Only rp wise would I take Knight. The fact of the matter is that Taunt targets all enemies, and even if it "misses" according to the animation one enemy - it still hits. And with the buffing from e.g. shaman the Paladin can be made more than tanky enough. My suggestion would be to make the knight have the higher DEF bonus and make protect last  3 turns or give the knight a armor penetration or to hit bonus to differentiate the two classes a bit.

15) The Zephyra + Cali tavern scene does not stay in the gallery. Perhaps, I should have unlocked group sex for both, but if it is not repeatable you cannot get that done again which is a shame. 

16) Character information does not update properly when doing a group sex action. I took Zephyra and Cali with me, after that nice little scene between them I wanted to build on that. I purposely let them make each other cum (no strap on though)  and it still says only one partner - to me penetration is not the limit of having another partner.

17) Maybe give Renown Royalty a hostess bonus? Seem logical to me and it does take some maneuvering for her to keep/get that class and now it mainly makes her just very expensive to upgrade (via slavemarket).

18) Zephyra's Bath request quest fires after going with to the church, but it seems localization issue happens returning: Zephyra_Bath_Request_Stage_1

19) Zephyra's bathscene is in the gallery with each individual image taking up a slot, whereas the other scenes can be replayed (and thus several images) by clicking on one particular scene.

20) Mae lacks a speechbubble in her character screen in order to talk to her. 

21) Maneater plants are weak vs. light. Plants normally like light, so that seems odd to me.

22) Fishing Tools are not seen at the fishing task (letters do not become green, nor does there seem to be a bonus for having them)

23) Quality of Life would be to retrain classes (for a heap of money as otherwise it is unbalanced). Example: I learned later that fairies have innate heal. If I had known that I would buff that with acolyte, but I went the caster route. This is just a small thing though as said.

24) In the search for Fred quest, you can immediately go in Aliron to Fred (via the Search for Fred button after you went to his living space). If you than go to fight the bandits, you cannot select a team (as you did not move to Aliron with a team). This causes a hard lock of the game, where you have to end the game. It goes fine if you go to the mansion first, but the purple button  in that case can cause issues.

25) Same as above, but than for curring Leon after you make the potion with Savra. My screen even went to the Elven city background and provided a button "Search for Leon". Once again as you are not there with a party it goes wrong. There is no problem if you first go to your mansion and then via the travel system go to "Leon's Location".

26) Traveling from any none Mansion location to another seems always to take just as much cycles as if you first went back to the mansion, even if in quests they are hinted to be "nearby". This seems odd.

27) [altered because of dergdergdergderg explanation] I would plead that the Druid class might also get an option to skip pass the Anthro- Deer Lady.

28) Sometimes I choose the combat options as they give xp, but I am not sure if by passing a fight actually provides xp (or stat increase - hard to check as you are not in the mansion and there may be other fights).

29) Perhaps let Luxury rooms increase the capacity for the amount of inhabitants of your mansion?

30) In general, I would lobby to increase the number that can live in the mansion via more upgrades.  With [as of 0.6.8b] 10 obtainable unique (actually 11 but two are mutually exclusive as I understand) characters, master, starter slave and a few good pick ups. You easily hit 15 characters for the first generation. This means you have but room for one additional generation before you have to ... sell characters you like or sell of your children, which feels pretty bad.

31) Very, very small thing as you can upgrade slaves via the slave market, but the unique characters seem mainly focusses towards magic or lewd classes and very few towards melee (due to their physique factors or starting classes). If a new character is still to be introduced I would suggest to make it melee focussed

31b) Unless of course it does not fit them, like Amelia. ;) She does hint after all she really does like you as a master and in the previous game we also saw other NPCs leave their original position, e.g. Ayda. And an unique Half-Breed Cat is not yet on the roster. ^_^

32) The hostess in the Zephyra+Cali tavern scene refers to them as Halfkin instead of Half-Breed and the description pop-up (when you hover over half-breed in a character screen) also refers to Halfkin. Yet, in the character screen races are called Half-Breeds. Seem inconsistent (though it is not unusual for two names to be used for something, but it is noticeable).

33) Quality of life improvement might be that in the work screen, you have a column showing which work item is equipped. I know the text in the lower left corner goes from red to green, but for quick overview purposes that would be wonderful.

34) Blood Explosion works differently than it is worded. It does 300% damage to one enemy. Than 50% to all Enemies. The wording seems to suggest the 300% is to all enemies as well.

35) When retrieving Lira for for Erlen, you get a wits check in order to think of another solution to get in. Despite getting a message stating I fail the check (I have wits at great/150), I am still offered the other plan which seems to work as I can bring her to Erlen

36) Heleviel's first scene does not show up in the Gallery unlike Lira.

37) In the text with the Anastasia men, if you take the deal and you go to the bedroom there is a [her] and a [he/she(?)], and a [she] in the text

38) You can still ask slaves to marry you after you married. I do not get the option at the church however to marry someone else. If you wish to have monogamy in the game, you may want to remove the option to ask other slaves to marry you or allow polygamy.

39) The Master Bedroom states that you gain 2 additional daily sex actitivies. These activities are only weekly and it only gave a +1 for my character. So it seems to have two errors in its description,

40) Pregnancies seem influenced by sending someone on an assignment. Two half-breed bunnies (one Daisy) were impregnated in the same action. Yet the non-unique half-breed bunny slave gave birth about a week later.

41) For one slave I get a message she will certainly get pregnant from the action as she is a "Breed Sow". However, there is no such class nor is she a taurus (she is a demon). Not sure if this pops up with a certain combo of classes, but in that case I would love to see why.

This is probably my last update for 0.6.8b. Thank you for the series, I was way more invested in getting classes for the other folks outside myself. I felt it leaned more strongly into the combat side of things than the original. I look forward to seeing the progress and I hope to hear if any of this was useful to the developers of this game.

If you go to Fred's Domitory and do not find him there. You get a button in Aliron to immediately go look for him via the "search for Fred" button that appears in the lower left corner of the screen.

However, doing so and going into a fight with the bandits leads to soft block in the game, as it asks you to choose who to fight the bandits but as you have no party (as you immediately went there from Aliron) you cannot select anyone. It does work if you go the domitory and then go the mansion first.

Well that is me restarting, because the autosave are not far back enough for me to do enough quests. Thanks for the aid.

I got repeatedly quests from 2 guilds I just could not do, because I had no forge or alchemy lab yet.  So, that is why I cannot finish that quest yet. And I read on the wiki the pay installments only got higher (total of 4 payments and that was a way to also finish the quest), not an auto game over.

Still, thanks for pointing that out. I guess I need to go back... or is there  away to modify the save file to set back the date a bit?

The journal says 250 gold. I have over 2000, but I get a game over every time I hit next turn. My main character is not in the mansion, can that be the problem?

I would like to continue the save so if anyone knows how to fix this, I would be grateful

Thank you. With that editor, I could clean up most issues. I still sometimes get an errors, see below, but these are not consistent as can be seen from the reloads to recreate it. So, for now I am just going to lift my shoulders at them. 

Thank you, when placing a new Aric expansion folder, I did notice that I must have erred as the the "expansion" and "expansion_ALT" file indeed had an older date (03-11-2020) instead of the new one (12-04 -2021).

Can you recommend a JSON editor? I tried three now. 2 cannot read the file, the other one crashes....

Thank you for that answer ankmairdor. All I did though was download the main Ralph's Modded Arics' Mod 0.9.7 stand alone version, along with the random portraits and farm one. Is there any version number I can check to see if I have some mismatch somewhere?

I will have to admit that I did play the save with the previous, misinstalled version and saved it, as I noticed it too late. I do not have a pre-version anymore. So, I am certainly to blame for that.

I will see if can get any sense of the text files. Thanks.

Okay I looked at them and I can find some characters names, but even in a new save game file there is so much information in it outside of the one slave that I own that I find it hard to find the end and a beginning of a character. Nor do I find the designation "troll" outside of "race_display":"Troll". Interessting though, I have this three times. Thus unless it is for an unborn fetus, the game does recognize my three troll daughters.... (unless the son I sold is still in this file).

[2nd edit] Something I have to say, as I forgot, was that when I booted the game it first saw my saves. Then after 1 day it could no longer untill I created three autosaves... not sure if that helps with detecting an issue.

[3rd edit] After testing the other old saves, I only get the problem now in the Orc save as posted. The other long save does not have a problem for the unassignable attribute points. I guess just the Orc one is broken, so that must be something in the save file I reckon.

The saves come from iirc the Ralph's modded Aric's Mod 0.9.5 standalone version. 

I did a reinstall, but the issue remains unfortunately.When I advance the same old save as posted I do not get the old error message, but this new one:

I also notice that when I start a new game I can pick any race I want, I thought this was not possible in this version? I thought I gleamed that at another post.

Anyways, some of the slaves are inexplicably broken and like a Sims game I want to continue the story... It is a bit of shame not to get a troll when you get the exact genes (hard enough as you need pure breds to get it reliable). *sigh* I hate to ask but is there a way to modify save files to correct such mistakes? And how would I go about it?

I am having a little issue after installing this and loading either old or new games, so I must have done something wrong.

I have generated characters that do not get their subrace, see below example. Whereas the subraces are recognized as her older sisters, Teodora & Linsey do still have their troll attributes. 

This character also suffers from the fact that I can not upgrade their stats, despite having free atrribute points. For some new characters it works and for some it doesn't. It effects bandits, children and base NPCs (Tisha Hale).

I do not know if the information in the changerace issue is too blame but I always get this at startup and when entering bandit battles.

The lower screenshot is of an old save, but I tested it on a newgame and the same issue happens there - even with your first slave. It does not seem race specific as an issue.


I also have the odd need to add the mods to the game via activating them as can be seen here, despite the installation guide saying you need not do it after installation. Perhaps that is causing an issue? If I do not do it. I do not get the "random portait" button of random portaits.
The Farm label mod was added after I already had these issues and do not cause it. I just though it wise to put the whole mod list here.

I would appreciate any help as I hate to lose/having break save games I worked on for quite some time (the above sample is not my longest game, but I fear for that one more and did not start it up).

I found that for some types of fetishes in the game there were very few portraits associated with it. So I added a few (and some random ones); mainly some sperm coverage (not super excessive mind you), sit/display images, a few pregnant ones (not exccesive again) etc.
